I purchased this inflator because the tire/wheel configuration on my Toyota Corolla had slightly recessed valve stems, making it somewhat difficult and frustrating to connect to the standard short chuck when I needed to top off the air pressure. This tool appears to be of very good quality and likely will last me decades. The straight metal connection sleeve makes it very easy to mate up with any valve stem, and the trigger/lever makes adding air a breeze. Just get a male threaded quick connect, add a few wraps of teflon pipe tape and screw it into the port on the tool, and you can quick change this device on and off your air compressor hose in a jiffy. A good value for the money!

Can’t comment on the sturdiness over time. I’ve only used it a handful of times. But it works well, feels solid, and does not leak! Fitting snugged up well, and the gauge is accurate.

I bought this for use on airplane tires. The recommended inflation is 25 psi. I inflated the tires and checked the reading against a standard tire gauge. They matched. I realize this wasn't the most scientific test, but it gives me a high level of confidence in this inflator at lower temperatures.

Appears to be well manufactured and very durable. I really like the ease of inserting the air valve stem into the straight nozzle.

I was working on Mack Trucks at the age of 15. The shop where I worked had an air compressor and this is the same air chuck we used. This is what I learned on and the same quality in this new chuck is still there. The 12 inch hose makes tire inflation easy regardless of the location of the valve stem. I swear by this tool. As far as I know they are still using the one I was using 50 years ago in that shop.
