Hyperkin Faux Leather Foam Guard Replacements for HTC Vive (2-Pack)

A lot of quality for a few bucks
I received a second hand Vive unit and quickly wanted to swap out the cotton foam guard on the unit due to them, well... if you're reading this then you already know the reason. I decided to give these a try and save a few bucks. I had pretty low expectations going into this purchase, but I'm very surprised at the quality product I received. The faux leather feels really nice on the face and I've had zero skin irritation from it. This material is not sweat absorbing, so it doesn't get retain a smell like the cotton does. On extremely long sessions of use of games like Beat Saber or Audica which require a lot of movement, I have noticed a little fogging on the lenses due to sweat not being absorbed, but honestly I was at this point that it was time for a break anyways, so this has not been an issue for me at all.One other thing to note is that these guards are much thinner than the cotton guards that were on my Vive unit, which I'm quite certain were the original guards that came with the unit. This brings your eyes a good bit closer to the lenses and decreases your field of view in-game, which puts you even closer to the action your seeing. This effect I've enjoyed much more than expected, and I can still wear my glasses without an issue.Overall, I'm very pleased with this product, especially for the price.

Great if you sweat a lot
These are a fantastic alternative to the gross after one use stock foam inserts HTC gives you. However, they’re a bit too wide for the for them vive, atleast mine were? I mean, these are extremely cheap and with a little bit of modding there’s no harm done. Great product.
