HealthyNees Big Tall Plus Calf Extra Wide 20-30 mmHg Open Toe Compression Socks

Bought these for mom. Sizing is difficult, numbers overlap. I think this item tends to run a little large, I would not buy a size up for this one. Only problem mom had was that it did not give the circumference of the foot opening and the design assumes that if you have a huge calf/ankle you also have a huge foot. The circumference of the arch opening of the sock is quite large on her foot. I purchased a Wide Calf 4xl because she has very large calves. Ankle and calf are fine but the opening at the foot is too big and does not even cling to the foot at all. See images for exact size. Still I recommend these they are well made, and it's not the fault of the sock that mom's legs/feet are not proportionately large. Just use caution if your legs and ankles are large or swollen but your feet are not and don't size up as these do fit according to their chart.

The socks are amazing. I mean just wonderful. I have had two pregnancies in my mid 30's and both resulted in edema. It was extremely painful how tight my skin felt holding all the fluid. In addition I was carrying a growing baby inside of me.I found these and decided to give them a shot...instantly I felt relief. I was able to lift my legs and walk without feeling the heaviness of the edema. And they are so breathable and comfortable. I have large calves so these work out perfect. I am 5'4 which makes they are a bit to long. I am able to fold them over at my toes, and add extra compression in my feet which is a bonus. I live in these things even after now given birth 7 months ago. They just feel so good.My reviews are always meant to be helpful opinions based on my thoughts of this product. Ordered the 5xl. I have a 24" calf and these would have been perfect IF it wasn't for the giant toe opening. The toe opening measures 10". To give you an idea...I am no small person... I am a tall, ahem, obese woman at 5'10" tall and 367 lbs and I wear a size 10 women's shoe. The toe opening didn't even touch all parts of my toe/foot area because it kind of just hangs there and wasn't even tight on the rest of the foot. If only compression socks designers/manufacturers would recognize that for women because you have giant calves, doesn't mean your feet are equally as large. Returning.

Compression socks are notoriously hard to put on, but they are painfully difficult if you have voluptous calves! These make the whole process do-able and are actually quite comfortable once they are on. The foot part is loose so it doesn't provide much compression, but rest of sock works great and makes a big difference. If they'd make the foot part a bit smaller they'd be perfect!

Bought these and had my doubts. I have very large calfs and most compression socks are hard to put on. These were easy to put on and are the perfect fit. After putting them on in a matter of minutes I could feel my legs perk up. I left them on for over 8 hours and all day my legs and feet felt great. Wish they had black but I can dye them if I wanted to. I highly recommend these to anyone like me who retain water and have swollen feet and legs. They are not a cure-all as lowering your salt intake and staying hydrated helps a lot.

Unfortunately my less than thrilled impression became worse over several weeks of using this product.From the ankle up, the product is fine initially and provides the needed lower leg compression. But, just because I have wide calves, it doesn't mean I have wide feet. The foot portion flaps and slides out of position causing the area to bunch up. This sometimes can be avoided by wearing a lightweight sock over the compression sock. Also, it'd be nicer if the top band was wider to provide a comfort area that didn't bind as the day progressed.Then after less than 3 weeks, the stockings began to lose their stretch quickly while wearing and within hours start to drop to my ankles. This was disappointing and happened in spite of rotating between several pairs daily. Used pairs were hand washed & rinsed in cold water & hung to dry. I will NOT purchase any more... nor would I recommend this product to anyone!

Positives: They stay up! They have a nice feel when when I'm out and about trudging through stores and errands! They are black and sturdy, and wash up very easily, and dry quickly.Negatives: The foot part is so floppy and loose it is useless. I was hoping for some compression at the ankle and across the feet too, but alas. And I don't think sizing down for me would be an option because my calves are very thick. Also the downside of the fact they stay up is the very top kinda digs in under the knee.Overall I was glad to have them especially this winter. I'll probably have to buy ankle/foot support and calf support separately, though, which isn't great given the expense, but you do what you have to do.

Pros:-They worked!: after a day on my feet wearing them I was LESS swollen than when the day started!-The material is comfortable-They stay put-They fit true to size chart-They are open toe-They have subtle reinforced heels-They have the size embossed on the open toe.... no guessing if you want moreCons:-They are REALLY hard to get on - especially over the heel- that bend is crazy hard to get past-Up very close, they show every speck of anything.... and attract it too. From a short distance (even just standing next to you), they look fine.-They didn't come with any care instructions... hopefully they are machine wash & dry-They aren't easy to get off (but much easier than getting on)I think I'd prefer something with a zipper.... but for a non-zipper style I am happy enough & impressed with their effectiveness

Cut into my legs so badly I lost all feeling. Hopeless.
