Bubble Purge G2 Hydraulic Steering Bleed and Purge Kit for Seastar OST-PBB.001

Used on Champion bass boat. It definitely helped on removing a lot of air in system after replacing seals. Watched YouTube videos several times and spent a couple hrs every evening trying to purge every bubble out.I did notice there is an upgraded kit that I would have bought instead. But again, not bad just not perfect.

If your outboard motor has hydraulic steering buy this purge system.It is easy to install and use. Watch the instructional videos on YouTube. They're better than a manual.The kit comes with an extra fitting to drain old/dirty hydraulic fluid from the tubes after you're done. It will take a little time to drain the old fluid, but the addition of the extra fitting is a huge plus.

Highly recommend this product AND that you watch the YouTube video that instructs on setup and use. It’s fairly easy but you do have to follow the steps as show on the video. Sure beats taking your boat to the shop just to have the hydraulics bled. Much cheaper!!!This (temporarily) fixed the steering issue on my Sea Pro 190cc with a 115 Suzuki outboard. Unfortunately, looks like I’m going to have to purchase a helm seal kit as it looks to be an issue with my gaskets vs just air in my hydraulic line.

This tool is a Awesome time saver!!!! You could build it yourself, However my time is worth more to me than standing in a fitting aisle trying to piece all this together!!! Well worth the price and simplicity to use. I've recommended it to several boat owners I know already. Thank you to Tyler for creating this little gem!!!

I have to give the seller a lot of credit for building this tool. I have made jury rig tools to do same job on the spot when I had to, but having this on hand is so much better. Hardly a drop of fluid to clean when I was done. Completely purged all the air after replacing all the the hydro lines on my Seastar system. The only recommendation I have is that it would be great if it came in a leakproof storage container. I bought a clear plastic bait box to store mine in so I could keep it in my tool box and not have the fluid leak after use.

So this tool work pretty much as advertised. I watch the youtube video on how to use this before giving it a try. Definitely recommend watching. I can say with out reservation you gonna have a little oil dripping around the steering helm. But nothing huge just put down some absorbing matts. Tool is easy to use , and well worth the money instead of paying your mechanic.

Amazing tool. I did the whole job of replacing a seal and maybe used a couple ounces of fluid. The job was incredibly easy with one person, and the quick disconnects made the job pretty much mess free. In addition, got a perfect flush. Can't recommend highly enough

This product worked flawlessly!! Very few products I have ordered have worked as well as advertised. This one did!! Fixed my sloppy steering in less than 1/2 hr. Certainly more money than I wanted to spend but also didn't want to pay a mechanic to fix or spend all afternoon setting up a home made purge system. Just buy it and save yourself an afternoon!!
