My kids love this. I am a huge fan of hockey, and my kids and I have been playing rug hockey in the basement, as well as street hockey in the unfinished side of the basement. The small goal provide the perfect 1-1 or 2-1 game with enough challenge and excitement. These are the perfect size and were very affordable. They assemble easily and are light enough to carry from room to room. Pretty durable too as I practice my shots on them too.

This set is a floor hockey aka knee hockey set. It is intended to be played by people of all ages. The sticks are mini sticks. Some reviewers purchased this set believing it to be a hockey set for young kids. While young kids can play it, it is intended for people of all ages. I purchased this set for my son's birthday. He absolutely loves it. It comes with three plastic sticks; one right handed, one left handed, and one right handed goalie. We often play together as a family, setting up in our living room. The ball is a light foam ball that does not hurt when you get hit by it, and you will probably get hit by it. I would suggest purchasing more balls because the ball can move pretty fast and has gotten lost a few times. The goals themselves are 1" plastic pipe that you push together. The pipes come apart pretty easily. During regular play they stay together, but if you pick them up and shake them or fall into them the nets will come apart. I see this as a positive since my children can get pretty rough with the nets. During a regular game we have to put the nets back together a few times. Again, this is a positive for me because it means the pipes are not breaking and I don't have to buy a replacement. We got this for my son for Christmas and he loved it a lot. It was easy to put together and we are still using it six months later. It is smaller, but that works well for smaller games in the living room or in the back yard. The only thing is that it would be helpful if more sticks came with it, and one is right handed and one is left handed, which makes playing more difficult. Thus the four stars instead of five is because really if you want to play regularly with two right handed people, you need to order more sticks, or if you want more than two people to play, you also need to order more sticks. It would also be nice if it had come with a couple balls. But overall we have still got a lot of use out of it and like it a lot.

This is an awesome set. 1) Assembly Easy enough to put it together without looking at the manual for some one even with average IQ. It took me less than 10 minutes to do both goals. 2) Quality Pretty sturdy for the price. If your kids don't go crazy on them, they should last for years. If you don't need to put them back in the box when not in use, you should glue the parts together ans they will hold up even stronger. 3) Enjoyment level My two boys have played with this set almost every day for 1&1/2 weeks now. I even played with them and it is fun but you need to remember that these are mini sets for kids so long play for adults is a back-breaker. We go the two extra sticks (with a puck and ball) "Mylec Mini Knee Hockey Stick Set" so that thier friends can join when they come over. This set does not come with a puck (just a yellow ball) so you may want to invest is some soft pucks as they are fun to play with as well. The balls are better on grass because the pucks are difficult to hit on grass.

The goals in this set were excellent. They were big and also durable. The sticks are nice, one righty, one lefty, and one goalie. The sticks are a little brttle though and I broke both of the sticks in a couple months. The goalie stick is good also and I still have it. I recommend these goals but I recommend you buy some composite stick because they are very good and durable.

Lasted a week bad material was kinda hard to assembly.

My son and I use this indoors and out. It is a ton of fun. If you use it just as intended it should provide plenty of long term use. We also use it out side for street hockey and it seems to be holding up well for now. we occasional knock the pipes out or flip the net but that is using it for more than it was intended. We dont glue any of the parts together because they seem pretty standard and could easily be replaced if something cracks down the road. My guess is that its 1/2-3/4" pVC. I wish they had listed it when purchased but all in all this thing rocks!

Bought this for my 6 year old boy...although the size was right, the goals don't sick together very well at all. If my son moves them in a "not so gentle" way, the parts will come disconnected, requiring me to re-attach. Aside from that, great toy.
