My wife likes it. So that's good.
Only four stars for one reason. My wife loves to read this. So for that, I considered 5 stars. Until I recall having to shiplap a deco wall in my living room. So I knocked it down to 4.

The magazine is built upon a different current topic and the last left me with a Zen like feeling.
I thought I might be getting more of the "Gaines" ideas and thoughts. Maybe even some corney stories about someof their experiences and people they have met along the way in a one on one type dialogue. I appreciate the recipes and the content on segments done by others and the last issue with changing of the leaves, etc was a comfortable read. I guess I thought it would also have some deeper design or creative ideas that they are known for. I miss their program and miss them. I think it is a good magazine and I had my own concept of what I thought it would be before I opened this issue.

So many adverts
I do like the home renovations and the art that goes along, but this magazine is overcome with advertisements. The last few issues I don't think had any article that weren't trying to sell something.Would Chip read this? I don't think so, and I think that is what is wrong.

class act magazine
High quality and classy. Reading this magazine is a bit like a mini vacation. Articles are positive without being hokey. Soothing to the eyes and the spirit.
