Jim Dunlop 47PEJ3N Eric Johnson Classic Jazz III, Red, 1.38mm, 6/Player's Pack

I am a huge John Petrucci fan, and in order to play his style of licks and riffs, you need a heavy gauge plectrum that has rounded edges for maximum attack and comfort. You could use flow picks too, but these are just easier to handle for me personally, especially if you're using 0.9 gauge strings in standard tuining, or maybe half step-down, for heavier gauge strings you might wanna try something else perhaps, but generally, these picks just get it done. Jazz 3's are amaing.

This pick is magic, I love it.This has become my go to pick for my Fender American Elite Stratocaster.Unlike other normal sized picks, these don't keep hitting your pickups all the time.These are sturdy and last much longer than regular picks.And because they are bright red in colour it's easier to spot them if they fall.

I was introduced to the world of Jazz III picks when a fellow guitar player generously gave it to me as a friendly gesture; it was a Dunlop Tortex. From my experience, the shape does make a difference and it's always a pleasure holding or playing with it. Looks wise also, it's one of the best looking pick shapes out there.So one day I'm playing around and I realize that I have only one pick of this kind, hence I open up Amazon to search for Jazz III picks, the fact being I only came to know of the name 'Jazz III' after browsing Amazon. The prices were steep so to say. Just have a look at the John Petrucci one! I kept browsing but couldn't find a good deal.Then I saw these Eric Johnson ones, 'Cliffs of Dover' starts playing in the back of my mind. The deal also seems good considering other Jazz III picks. I go through the comments, reading about happy customers. And then I stumble upon a comment which says he got it for 300 Rupees at some other website.The next few moments were like an adrenaline rush filled one. I went to Bajaao website, searched for this product (there was only one left in stock), created an account and placed an order immediately. Though I didn't get it for 300, but landed a pretty amazing deal of around 450 Rupees, which is a dream deal so to say.Today morning they arrived, the picks are a thing of beauty, color is wonderful, shape is proper Jazz III and the grip is amazing. I also heard Eric Johnson used same thickness picks himself.I mean I don't intend to take away customers away from Amazon but come on, for any guitar player, the deal is almost too hard to let go. Blessed be the Internet!
