I've been using these for a couple years, since we moved into a small camper on a tiny septic system. I like that they come in cardboard. I'm not 100% confident in the dissolvable plastic being in the environment's best interests, but I like to put a little detergent in the body of the dishwasher too, so I just cut it in half with scissors and toss the plastic. Anyway, it's a nice product and washes well.I also cut it because I have a mini dishwasher, so I figure I don't need the whole pod anyway.

Bought on a whim but am impressed. I’m almost done with the box and I will be ordering more. My dishes are clean and my glasses are clear, no residue was left behind. So far there were only a few times where the wrapper did not dissolve entirely. But my dishes still came out clean. I rent an apartment and have an ancient dishwasher. Am thankful it still works and that these pods work with it.

Beyond Auto Dishwasher Tablets offer an environmentally conscious cleaning solution with effective performance. They do come individually wrapped and are supposed to dissolve, but I remove the package. They seem to dissolve fine for me and I have not had any residue. I think they are a good value for the money.

Started with Ecover, as lots of us do. Got too expensive. Made my own. Worked OK…not wonderful, just OK. Tried Planet for a while, but could never grok why it came in packages with 20 pods. Still, did a good job, and the price was decent (which I suspect had to do with the packaging of 20…). Then suddenly, Planet shot up to over $11 for the same 20 pods…no freaking way. Back to the drawing board, came up with beyond.Well, I am on my second box now…it is a great value and leaves my plates and stuff cleanest of all of them. Appreciated their tip to place a pod in the silverware thing, if they didn’t open from the usual place (mine didn’t).Really love this stuff and hope the price stays reasonable.

This is NOT plastic free! I try to be environmentally conscious and try to use cleaning products that won't harm the environment and I am even more conscience about what my family and I put in and on our bodies. These products stated they contained environmentally friendly ingredients and were plastic free so I bought them. They came individually wrapped in plastic which I wouldn't normally complain about but, the directions specifically state NOT to remove it and it will dissolve in the wash. When I looked up what these wraps were made out of I found it was made from PVA which is a disolvable PLASTIC that is biocumulative... meaning it DOES NOT break down. So if you buy these, you should be aware that you will be serving your family food on dishes that are COATED in MICROPLASTICS. I will definitely be blacklisting Beyond and it's parent company, Cleanfinity brands, from my house. Their marketing is nothing but greenwashing with no regard for their client base.

This is a serious question on how to make this product work?I loved that it was scent-free and plastic-free. Exactly the type of product that I have been looking for. I tried this product for several months. But now I have tried a standard dishwasher liquid in a bottle. It works so much better - dishes are cleaner, and there is no residue build-up in our dishwasher.When we used this product, there was a lot of residue build-up in the dishwasher. Is there a way to prevent this?I would like this product to work, but need to find if there is a better way to make it work.It took a lot of extra water and time to hand wash the dishes after a load to remove the residue.

It's important for me to have effective yet no-odor dishwasher tablets and these are the only ones I've found that fit this bill. They really are fragrance free, they really clean my dishes. I love this product. I have been using them for over 2 years now.
