This replacement dryer belt exceeded my expectations. It arrived super fast, which was impressive, and the installation went smoothly. Belt was exactly as described (length: 89.5”) and fit my GE dryer. Went on quickly and easily and got my dryer back up and drying!

This is the perfect fit replacement belt for my dryer. Easy to install and got our dryer back up and going. Will buy again when I need another. Update: After less than two months of use this new belt has broke. Have used several of this belt on different machines and never had an issue, they still going to this day. This last belt however, has gone to belt heaven after about 10 or 12 uses. Maybe just a manufacturer defect I presume. I'm not saying not to purchase this product, as I've purchased this same product on many occasions and haven't had any issues. I'm just saying that this particular one didn't hold up.

My dryer stopped working. To replace it I would have had to spend alot. My husband took off top and side and front door. Saw the belt was broke we ordered this replacement belt for $12.90 abd it came the next day. 3 hours later. Which included clean the lint out of dryer. Works like a charm. The store said dryers last around 8 years which was the amount of time I had my dryer. Hopefully we get another 8 years. Thanks to amazon and y tube videos we...mostly my husband fixed the dryer.

I searched this on here by part number WE03X29897 and this is the first belt that pops up and had good reviews so I order it . It’s not an easy belt to replace on my dryer as it is because you basically have to run the belt over the motor and tension idler by feel because there is no access panel from the back . So after 15 minutes of battling and scratching my arms all the hell I grabbed my broken belt and measured it at 89 1/2” , I hold the loop together with my fingers and put the new belt inside of it and it’s definitely shorter than 89 1/2 “ . So I search my part number up to make sure I entered the numbers right , so I look it up again and it says 89 1/2” part number WE03X29897 . So I copy and paste it onto Amazon and it brings up this belt again . So I search the entire description and nowhere do I see where it says the actual length of this belt but they mention this part number numerous times . So I go to the next belt on the search list using the same part number and on the very next recommended belt it clearly in the description it says 89 1/2” length. I look at the reviews and literally the first one on there is a 5 star review with a photo of my exact same dryer saying it was a perfect fit . It seems odd that everyone else I see listing this part number has it listed as a 89 1/2” belt but this company doesn’t . Scrolling through the reviews on this belt I see other people mentioning this belt isn’t the right length

Update: The belt broke 13 months after i got it. I had to replace the drum drive belt on my GE dryer since the original one broke. It was fairly easy to install aside from it just being a bit of a pain to access. No fault of the part, just the way GE designed the dryer but once I got it on it worked like a charm. Saved me from having to spend huge amounts of money for a factory OEP part.

My dryer stopped just after just running for a couple of minutes. After some checking the drum belt had snapped. Can't complain after the dryer had served me for almost 14 years (not sure how old the dryer is). My dryer is a beaumark and had very little space for my hands and arm to be inserted. Took a few attempts to get my hands in place. Dryer is back to functioning and doing its job.
