Clean, slim, well designed face. Case, is also very solid material, and winding mechanism is very smooth. Bottom line is you want a watch that will last, not need battery changes, fits perfect in Jeans and mens suits with the watch pocket inside the right pocket, you are good to go! A comment about others who talk about 2 seconds off in X time? "Unacceptable!" They are clearly young people who never grew up living with this type device to tell time. You need to wind it twice a day, usually before bedtime in the evening, and then again when you get up in the morning. You also set the time once wound. This is how life was before cheap electronic watches that can actually keep this accuracy. If, you want old school charm, this is still a very accurate watch. I wear it daily!

I am pleasantly surprised with this watch. It seems to be poised correctly for a pocket watch. Crown up orientation causes the watch to gain time. Dial up orientation causes it to lose time. It balances out pretty well. Lay it flat at night, and carry upright during the day. I am losing 1.4 seconds/day averaged over 1 week. My only issue is that it does not hack seconds, but I did not expect it to.

The watch seems of good quality. The display is easy to read. The second hand is hard to read and painted red which should be painted white to show against the black so hard to keep second timing accurate. Luminous only on hands and not numbers but you can guess the time in the dark. Comes with nice chain. I like manual wind watches so I know it's wound every day and in case I don't use it for awhile I can set and wind and know it is good for at least a day. With automatic you don't know when it is going to stop or how much wind is left. Also more mechanisms mean more problems. Older technology is better in some cases. The watch is more expensive than other cheaper manual wind pocket watches but this is of higher quality considering it is Chinese. Watch runs for almost 2 days on one winding and also is very accurate not fast or slow. I wish it had hacking but they didn’t have hacking in the old days.

A great watch, but it ran very fast. Just needed to pop the back off and adjust the speed over about a week. No biggie if you know how to do it.

The watch is very nice looking and heavy. Went to set time and nothing. All that it will do is wind up. I tried several times to gently pull the winder mechanism to adjust the time and when it finally moved the entire winder button and shaft came out breaking the watch. Not very happy.

Does not keep correct time. E- mIled Gotham about it. Said they would fix it. Supposed to have sent me a return slip. Never got it. So I’m stuck with a new watch that looses time. Will not buy again
