Stylish, comfortable, reliable, and smooth.
If you're like me and you need a stylish and reliable pen. Then look no further. It writes very smoothly, fits in my hand nicely, and I've not had any cramps using this pen for long periods of time. It's lighter than I thought it would be, but it still feels sturdy. The bumps or the 'grip' for the pen are very small and I don't feel they help grip the pen any better. The only thing I don't like about the pen is if I loan it to anyone they want to steal it!!!

A big, but awesome pen.
A big, heavy, man pen. Works for those who like the idea of carrying a rugged metal pen for "survival" purposes, or those who just like having something quality that looks nice and will last a long time. Doesn't exactly write like the G2s you may know and love, but it still writes like butter. Clicks open and closed with a substantial feel and satisfying sound. It's like closing the door of a benz. Just a good, good pen.

Better for the advanced ink
I like Pilot advanced ink, but I really don't like the Center of Gravity pen that the ink usually comes in, especially for EDC. Unfortunately, for all the custom barrels I have, none of them can take the refill. Luckily I came across this pen, so I can write comfortably when I decide to use ballpoint (I usually use roller ball or gel ink). The barrel of the Axiom is nice, but it can be a little slick when writing (the dots at the bottom don't add grip), but for me, it certainly beats using the Center of Gravity.

This pen is my new favorite!
This pen is my new favorite! It writes so smoothly and the point is neither too thick nor too thin, so the writing comes out clear and not blurred or faded. The matte black looks really nice as well. You will want to use the Pilot Dr. Grip Center of Gravity Ballpoint Ink Refills. They also come in black if you want to switch out the blue ink that the pen comes with already inside. At first I was hesitant to spend $15 on a pen as I usually buy a pack for $5 or so, but after using it I know I will be writing with it for a long time to come. Definitely worth purchasing.

Don’t drop it!
Just like the metal-barrel G2 click pen from (otherwise very solid) Pilot, : IF you drop this once, from ~30”, it’s highly probable the click capability will fail and the pen rendered inoperable. Both of these metal-barrel roller- and ball-point Pilot pens brick from literally ONE drop at desk level. Really disappointing given the strong brand history and myriad other Pilot products I own. 3* because if you don’t drop it, it’s a great pen. But the extremely limited service life is a huge consideration.

Good pen to have. Very reliable!
I still occasionally sign wet signatures as my job requires me too. So I wanted to be professional and personally make myself feel good by purchasing this pen. It turns out very satisfying, the ink is good. Writing is smooth. I like the feel of a bit heavy of this pen. Pretty satisfied. I might purchase again as a gift for my friends

Fantastic Writing Instrument
This pen has a luxurious feel and smooth stroke. The pen being all metal has a weight that allows the writer to glide the pen across the page quite effortlessly.
