Perfect sealer but the ends of the sealer are too hot that it makes holes on the bag you want to seal. Can be fixed if you put foil over the ends.

I use this daily to seal packages that leave my shop. I have used it for months now and no issue. I love that it does not get hot to the touch since my toddler plays near my work space.

If it doesn't work right out of the box, turn it over and unscrew the bottom. The heating element is a wire with loops at either end.If you push down on the arm and look at the hinge area, you'll see there's a metal piece with a button on the end. You might need to bend the button piece so that it "threads" the heating element.Same thing on the front. Move the arm up and down to see where it needs to make contact.After that, it seals like a dream.

The unit did not work when it arrived. A small but annoying fix inside the machine corrected it. I messaged the seler to let them know it wasn't working and did not heard back. :/If the unit was working correctly, when you push down fully the on the sealer handle to seal a bag, the red light is supposed to turn on to let you know it is sealing, then turn off when it is done. That wasn't happening. Once I opened up the bottom of the unit to take a look inside, I saw that it wasn't happening.To fix: I unscrewed the bottom white panel. In photo one, you see where the brass colored bar is attached to the push handle mechanism. When you push the handle down, that bar is supposed to make contact with that small button on the black switch (far left in photo) which activates the sealer.In photo 2, you see that when the sealer handle was pushed all the way down, it was not making contact with the switch button. (If you push the button with your own finger, you will see red light come on and hear the unit activate.In photo 3. you can see how it is supposed to work as normal. To get the brass colored handle to fully reach the switch and push the button, with the handle extended up and not pushed down, I used a pair of pliers to bend the brass colored bar about an 1/8th of an inch left, towards the switch. Then, when I pushed the handle down to seal , the mechanism correctly pushed against the switch and activated the machine.

Bought to seal cookie bags. Now the whole family uses it fr everything. It lives on the kitchen counter. Love this thing!

This is the worst product I’ve ever bought. I gave this company 2 chances I figured the first one I bought was defective and I also missed my return window. Purchased it I’m April 2020 I sealed 65 bags and I stopped working. So I bought another one my stupid fault!! I purchased this one on September 8,2020 And this one only sealed 32 bags. The bags are for soap so I’m only sealing them on one side. Following all instruction and still not working. I don’t know who these companies are not days that think small businesses have money to just throw away on defective product. I’m so upset. I even messages them the first time with no reply

It's a good value for the money and a heavy duty device that works well (once fixed) however QC is lacking and it may be DOA like mine was. In my case it would never turn on but I opened it up (four screws) and saw the problem was it was out of adjustment and never depressing the switch and turning on. I was able to adjust the switch so that it would engage and works fine now. There is some confusion about the dial - it is a simple timer - the longer you have it set for the longer the element stays on per use.

I had to open up the bottom panel and bend the metal just to make it work when pressed down, after a while that also stops working so I have to manually press the button. It’s still a great deal for what you’re getting but from other reviews I’ve read this isn’t uncommon for this model. I hope they can fix it because when used right it works perfectly.
