The good points. Styling of the shoe is great. I can also confirm the fact that you should get a half size down.For the price, it was ok as this is a shoe I will wear only once or twice a year.Now to the bad point. When I opened the box, I was hit by this really bad chemical smell. Really bad smell. It was pretty strong and not a smell that you only notice when you put the shoe close to your nose. I had the shoe in the open box and walking around the house, I can actually catch whiffs of the obnoxious rubber smell. I've been putting it outside hoping it will air out. It's the second day now, and while the smell is not as strong, I can little get whiffs of it. Hopefully a few more days and the smell will go away. Fingers crossed.Update: 5 days later, while the smell did seemed to fade, I made the mistake of putting these in my closet. Now the closet reeks of the disgusting smell. I just processed the return.

Nice shoe but I went with a lace up. They had a strong smell that I could not get rid of.

Runs a full size to big for me. I’m normally a size 10. Ordered a size 9.5 from the reviews and they were still to big. Smell wasn’t as bad as I expected. I let them sit out in my dining room for a day and the odor was gone.

I love them and they are very comfortable after the first few hours. If you get them a few days before you need them you can air them out and break them in. I would definitely recommend them. Just as other reviews stated, they wind up being a half size larger once you wear them for a couple of hours. And they do have a very strong chemical smell right out of the box. I aired them out without shoe trees for three days and they were fine.

Looks great but the plastic has a terrible smell and off gas..

I brought these shoes for my wedding and even found a bow tie to match as well. So looking forward to my wedding day, July 3, 2021. I will also wear them after with some jeans and nice dress shirt as well.
