i had been worried about the trailer license plate falling off due to my cheap plastic holder. well, i bought this thing, and a nuclear bomb will not get the license plate to fall off now. it is hinged so if i hit something GOING FORWARD, it will bend backwards (but not when i am backing up)the only thing odd is that is it actually wider than the license plate. but i can live with that

Bought this for my dump trailer to keep the plate from bending. Stout and looks like it will work well. Swings about 90 degrees one way and 45 the other.

VERY rugged and heavy duty. NOT cheaply made. Oversized, appears to have been designed for commercial truck use, but works great on my trailer and prevents my license plate from getting beaten up. Highly polished chrome.

It was a little bigger than I thought but it still worked out great. I put this on a tilt car trailer and with out it I was always having to bend the license plate back into shape, I was worried it would eventually brake. No problem with that happening now and it looks really good. I read a lot of reviews that said it rusted out my answer to that is don’t live in the rust belt lol. I’m never going to have that problem here in Arizona

This thing is heavy duty! It was way better than I expected. Was putting it on a small trailer I was building. Mounted it in the middle on the rear frame rail. Put dual tag lights shinning on it. Wow! At night this thing is just pure pretty. It is heavy though. Expect to use top grade bolts to mount it. I will never worry about loosing my tag with this holder. Well worth the money and any extra effort to mount.

Same quality as in the local truck parts store but got it cheaper and faster than they could get
