SPARTA 4037400 Boarhair Wide Brush, Flat Brush with Handle Hole, 8.25"L x 2"W, Wood Handle

Finally had to replace my Sparta pastry brush after about 40 years of use; bristles were still intact and in good shape but brush handle fell off at the ferrule. Hope new one lasts just as long, which will outlive my baking days. New one looks the same as original one. I always hand-washed the brush, less stress on brush. Used same brush for pastry work and bbq basting

I bought the Sparta 2 inch and 3" for cooking. These are the best kind of brushes you can find anywhere! The natural bristles will not come out, and hold butter, oil, barbecue sauce, what ever you want to brush on. They're easy to wash. I've searched for these for five years, and I'm so happy to find them on Amazon. I especially like to use them for making baklava and pastries.

No loose bristles, cleans up nicely, no residue

Im having problems with this brush - used it a few times and now the bristles are falling out in my pan as I use it. This stinks! Im throwing this thing away. Junk.

Great brush

Bought as a replacement for our old basting brush which finally fell apart after years of use. This one is just as good, and we are totally satisfied.

Excellent brush...holds a lot of stuff without undue dripping. You can baste something very quickly with this brush.
