Just perfect
Felt like I was buying it "sight unseen" since there were no reviews. I wanted a square that would measure from zero on the inside edge, and measure from zero from the base for vertical measurement. I would think that would be a good idea and expected to have no problem. However, the only squares I could find on Amazon that measure that way are the really(!) expensive ones. So I ordered this one hoping for the best and was not disappointed. It's solid and as near as I can tell perfectly square.

Perfect for calibrating wood working tools
Used it on my 12” chop saw and 10” table saw. It was more than accurate enough for those applications and a perfect size to be used against those size saw blades and the flat working surfaces and the tool fences.

6 inch square
It is nice and heavy plus easy to use. I may want to order a longer one.

Great machinist square for the price. Very convenient when squaring up machinery and power tools. I use this square a lot and also use it to double check the squareness of my other squares (especially adjustable square, even my starret sometimes, although it doesnt need it. I'm just kind of particular about these things). Also, the etched measurements are DEAD ON. I also appreciate the small groove/cut-out at the 90 so that you can place your marking utensil exactly at 0.Would recommend and buy again.

I found it to be accurate enough for setting up my miter saw.
I used this to set up my miter saw, 90 degree bevel angle and to adjust the fence so that it was square to the saw blade.I also used it to correct low cost combo squares to make them accurate for woodwork tasks (these were not accurate when purchased). I filed the bearing surface for the sliding ruler using a fine file until the combo square was accurate with this engineering square. They were then accurate when checked using the normal pencil line test from a machined edge. I cleaned the grease off the square and coated it with camellia oil to prevent corrosion as I do with my chisels and planes.

Nice Little Accurate Square
I needed a little Machinist Square to check the Blades and Fences on my Table and Wet Saws, and this does the trick, I read reports that a lot of the CHEAPER Brands sold on here were Rejects and JUNK, so I went with the Groz Brand because I'm familiar with the name and know they have been around for a long time, I did check the edges of it by laying it on Glass, and it is Right On.

Real tool
Love the precision. Makes me feel like a professional!!!Just the right size for marking cut lines on most wood pieces. The inch graduations are very helpful although my old eyes would enjoy more contrast.
