Like a few other reviewers I was anxious about this item, but it was quick and easy to fit. My Surefire 6P now delivers super bright white light, plus the batteries should last far longer, with no dipping in brightness - LED's don’t dim when the power is low, it’s either on or off. NB It's best to remove the outer spring to enable the head to be fully screwed down, and it doesn't effect the lamps performance at all.

Found my old Z2 in my kit box. Still had the original incandescent bulb in it from when I last used it over ten years ago. Can’t believe how much leds have turned night into day. Bought this bulb to try and after removing the big spring, worked like a charm.

The product arrived sooner than I expected, fitted to torch in less than a minute. So much brighter at night good call for anyone who wants to uprate their Surefire torch.

Replaced my original (dead) xenon bulb,no longer avaiable.nice bright white light,exellent range,especially compaired to original bulb which only lasted 6 months(only used for spotting on a pressure switch)well made,works as it should. That impressed going to order a "spare".great price against the cost of the now unavailable original.made a great torch even better 5 stars.
