This is delicious and taste just like what you get from takeout! I add a little water to mine to make it a bit thinner as that's what I'm used to but, it's great!

Tasty but had been repackaged by re-gluing the label and putting plastic around the jar top to seal. The glue formed a small hard blob that scratched my palm and drew a bit of blood. This is a place for infection to form, so an awkward bandaid and antiseptic ointment had to follow. I wonder about the product inside the jar, even though I,ve eaten it with some enjoyment. Leakage and seal were inappropriate.

Your chutney will be wrapped in 8 layers of bubble wrap, then secured by 3+ layers of plastic stretch film. That bundle will then carefully be placed inside a thick-walled box that could hold a personal-size watermelon, then taped closed. Opened this bottle just now — the fifth I've purchased over the last couple of years—and it smells, looks, and tastes COMPLETELY different. I was so sure I must have ordered the wrong thing, but nope! I checked my Amazon order history and it's the same thing each time, plus I went through this listing and none of the others are labeled "Samosa Chutney."The bottle has a different image on the front, it's Medium spicy (which is fine, but a change), and the ingredients are completely different.The ingredients currently listed here in the product description are:Sugar, Tamarind, Dates, Water, Salt, Spices (Cumin, Chilli, Fennel), Acidity Regulators, [Citric Acid (330)], Stabilizers [Xantham Gum(415)]).The ingredients on the bottle I received are:Mango, Sugar, Date, Water, Tamarind, Salt, Cumin, Black Salt, Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Acidity Regulator [Acetic Acid (260), Citric Acid (330)], Sodium Benzoate (211) as Preservative & Xantham Gum (415) as Stabilizer.I checked the ingredient lists of the other sauces available from this company, wondering if it was just a labeling error, but none of them have this ingredient list—so apparently the recipe for this sauce has changed. I'm so bummed out; it took me half a dozen tries to find a tamarind chutney that I liked, and while I'm sure this is a fine sauce for SOMETHING, it's not what I wanted for the meal we're having in half an hour.What a shame. Why would you change this? It doesn't taste like tamarind at all now.
