Amazing machine. We've bought numerous products that were supposed to shave ice before but they have never worked that well or for very long. Time will tell about the longevity of this, we've only had it for four days, but it produces excellent margaritas, daiquiris and mudslides. Very easy to use and cleanup is simple. The one issue we had with it was with the ice chamber on the top of the machine and lack of troubleshooting in the instructions. When we first turned it on the start button had a flashing red light instead of a green ready to use light. A quick YouTube search of the issue told us the ice chamber wasn't locked in place. The force required to turn the plastic ice chamber to it's locked position is substantial almost to the point where you feel like it will break but you need to turn it until you hear a click. Not a big issue but something to be aware of.

Was going to give four stars, but I remembered that this unit is not a commercial grade machine, and it states as much multiple times in the literature. So I gave five stars. :) I bought two of these machines for a festival I was serving refreshments at for eight days in a row (Saturday to Saturday) in my home town. I did strawberry daiquiris and pina colada drinks, non-alcoholic. Due to the intense heat (around 90 degrees each day) the frozen drinks sold very well. I blended no less than 400 drinks with these two machines during that long week. On the last day of the festival, one of the machines stopped blending. I didn't know that the switch that detected the pitcher was in place had somehow gotten dislodged from it's position. I finished the festival using the single machine, but with two pitchers. It really didn't slow me down, and I was able to keep up with orders. So, all in all... I took in more than 5 times what I paid for the machines; they paid for themselves very easily. And we (my staff and I) did not go easy on these two Bali machines. They got handled a bit rough in the quick pace of servinng customers. The machine that had stopped blending somehow corrected itself when I got them back home, into my kitchen. I cannot fault the machine for that glitch, these are not marketed as commercial equipment. And like I said we didn't go easy on them. Some have mentioned in reviews to "save your money and just get a good blender." Maybe that's good advice, but I would disagree. The "theatrics" of these Margaritaville machines in action draw a LOT of positive attention from party or festival goers. Part of the experience of getting a frozen concoction is watching the machine do its glorious thing. :) If you are considering one of these for home parties, I think you'll be very pleased, and it will last for many years. Note: Nearly all of the negative reviews mentioning broken parts are from more than three years ago. It seems that the quality control of the parts has been upgraded for better reliability.

The machine is always a hit when we’re entertaining. The dispenser runs in reverse prior to dispensing your beverage so you’re not getting melted product in your cup. It is obviously a little more expensive than other machines, but I think it was well worth the money. It is surprisingly easy to clean up afterwards. The only thing I would have preferred would be a better way to measure out the amount of ice you need to put in the machine before selecting your settings.

This product is great. I would definitely encourage you to purchase it. I got the machine today, it came packed very well and there wasn't any damage to the machine. I got the machine home, I had it delivered to my work, opened it up and it was in a few pieces that were easy to assemble. So the machine is all set to go so I fill the top with ice to the line and close it, no problems, I slide the ice nozzle over to add my ingredient's and then put it back, very intuitive. Plugged it in, turned it on, chose the settings and pushed the start button. Now this is the only reason this product doesn't get five stars. When I hit that start button this thing came to life like you wouldn't believe. It started to shave the ice on top of the machine and blend the mix in the container and the sound it made was incredible. It was VERY loud, and I mean LOUD. Now this is normal and really to be expected because hey it's high powered blender and a heavy duty ice shaver powering away to make you some frosty goodness as fast possible. So to be fair I had to take a star away for the noise. When you set this thing off everyone around is going to look at what the racket is, but I would say it's a small price to pay. So now the cycle is done and it looks good and icy and mixed like it should be. So I take my glass and push it up against that lever of icy happiness and it comes to life again, a little less than before because the ice shaver on top stays off, and out it comes with some pretty good force. There were some really small drops that bounced out of my glass, like a really fine mist, no problem though. So I take that first sip and it's good, not great though because I like my drinks a little more icy so what do I do? I hit that shave ice button and fill the container with more shavings till it looks like the arctic and hit the blend button for a second and now it's Great. I just love this machine. I'm in Southern California and it's going to get plenty hot this summer and this miracle of icy joy is going to make those days pass by with no problems, as long as I don't run out of mix and ice. So don't hesitate to hit that order button, I know this baby is pricy but it is definitely worth it. It's 80 degrees at 10 at night as I'm writing this and I have to tell you this "Frozen Concoction" I have here sweating away, instead of me, has me feeling cool as a cucumber. I also would recommend the extended warranty I got when I bought the machine. I know, I know usually they are a waste of money but for $30-$40 for 4 years they pay for shipping it back and if it can't be fixed they give you your money back. Now I tell you for that amount of money how can you go wrong? It pays for itself just with the shipping costs. So Frosty goodness and peace of mind, you can't go wrong. Thank you.

Like frozen drinks? Are you hot and want to cool down then this is the machine for you. We love this margarita maker. We make so many different frozen drinks with it not just margaritas. The machine is of great quality and shreds ice in seconds making your drink a slushy favorite. The Blender is very strong and has no problems mixing your concoction. Strawberry daiquiris margaritas, peach Bellini's, you name it it can make it. Even try your own concoction I'm sure it will be a cool hit!

I've used it 10+ times during the summer and it works well. Although blender may be a bit weak (i prefer my ninja blender if I want frozen fruits to be super smooth), I'm satisfy with the rest. Cleaning is easy, dissembling was easy. Chrome finish looks a bit cheap though

Love this machine. It shaves the Ice perfectly and is the smoothest blended drink ever! Love that it reblends when I push the dispenser for more. Comes apart easily for a quick clean after.
