One Of The Best Pulse Oximeters I Have Used Outside Of The Hospital!
This is a great and accurate Pulse Oximeters that I have ever purchased. We have two and of the two this one is exactly calibrated with the machine at our Doctors office. It works very fast and it has way more features than the one we initially purchased. We paid twice as much for the first one. Overall this is a great and quick reading pulse oximeter for a very good price and it is feature loaded. You can switch the direction of the reading depending on how you look at your finger to make the numbers upright. That is something our older model did not do. It also has an alarm on it that you can turn off or on. I do not think you can get a better deal than this unit. I purchased a Resperonics or Phillips model that was the most expensive and inaccurate model I have ever owned. I returned it to the medical supply store.

Accurate and beyond simple to use
I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. As a result, my pulse is highly variable from standing to sitting and depending on temperature. Not only that, but I have asthma and anxiety. Some days, with all the biofeedback I'm getting, it's hard to process what's coming from my body and what's in my head. It's incredibly helpful for me to be able to see a readout letting me know if my SpO2 is actually low or if I'm just anxious about something. No more "just in case" albuterol doses for me. It's also wonderful to be able to track my heart-rate and have an easy way to gauge when it's gone back into normal range from a spike. Pros: The instructions are VERY detailed and easy to follow. I work in healthcare and have used a variety of pulse oximeters. They're not always as intuitive as this one (i.e. those awful clunky red things that have six buttons and none of them are labeled with anything helpful). The parameters are variable for your own personal needs (my SpO2 is often low and my heart rate is often high, so it's nice to not get an alarm every single time I use the device). The size is compact and easy to throw in a backpack or purse. The view is changeable for comfort (and it's easy to do so since there's only the one button). I haven't heard the alarm yet so I can't speak to that, but the tone for the pulse tracker is pretty unobtrusive. So that's reassuring. Cons: Seems very sleek and shiny, which at face value is wonderful, but in the long term makes me wish the product came with a case. The lanyard is great and all, but it would be more handy to protect the product (I think) than be able to hang it off something. Overall? An amazing product and I'm glad I bought it. I can't speak to the durability or battery life since I only purchased it recently, but so far it's wonderful.

Accuracy and Ease of Use
I am a retired critical care RN who used pulse oximetry products in very acute settings for many years. I then spent some time as a medical equipment consultant recommending the various pulse oximetry technologies to be used in hospitals and out of hospital settings. I bought the Innovo Fingertip Pulse Oximeter last year for personal use and then ended up giving it to a relative. I've just bought the exact device as a replacement. This device has several features that clinicians use as indicators of accuracy including the plethysmograph and the Perfusion Index. While I don't personally use the alarm feature it is great to have if you need to do continuous monitoring on someone who has an SpO2 that is low. The different display modes are a 'nice to have' feature.

Good Pulxe Oximeter
I have an older PO that always seemed to show me with great O2 percentage. A recent trip to the ER made me aware that it was probably too optimistic, so I scouted around for a replacement. This one seems to track with the commercial ones in the hospital, so I feel it is pretty accurate. I like the pulse graph and also the fact that it remembers the orientation you put the display in from the last use. No more punching the button to reorient it each time. It is a little fussy to get your finger positioned just right for an accurate pulse rate, but the perfusion index helps with that. It is a bit slow in showing the correct readings, but not a big deal - usually no more than 10 seconds. It instantly recognizes if you remove your finger and shuts off quickly. The display is crisp and easy to read. I would have liked to get a carry pouch with the unit, since the lanyard is pretty much useless. I keep it in a carry bag and protecting the unit in a case is important, so I will need to order a separate pouch. But, overall a good purchase.

Reliable and easy to use
I needed an accurate tracking record of my blood oxygen level for medical reasons,.This one was recommended by several independent reviewers, and even though a bit more expensive, decided to try it. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This unit, so far, (have had for several weeks) seems to be very accurate and like that it also tracks my pulse and is easy to read. The unit itself is very sturdy and I'm not afraid of accidentally breaking it. Hoping I will get to the bottom of my issues and only have to use it occasionally but good to have on hand, especially when one is more mature. :)

Easy to use, seems accurate...
Super easy to use... choice of displays and position so you never have to read it upside-down or sideways, regardless of which side you have it one or if it's on someone else. Most others also don't include perfusion index. It's so easy my little kids can use it (for fun/curiosity) and it shuts itself off. It seems well built and I've been using it for over a year now. Apparently doesn't need too much power – still using the same battery! With regards to accuracy, all I can say is, it is showing the same %SpO2 as what was being displayed on the Philips Vitals display... not as cool and "smart" like the Masimo but it's an order of magnitude less expensive.
