Better than other brands I've had. Keeps ice cream and frozen food frozen in summertime or winter when car heater is running.

Having a 5 pk is great for multi-use. I keep ice and food separate. Ice kept nice for hours during a hot summer day. It has plastic handle and push button closure. Push buttons don't always snap shut, so double check. Bag is not leak proof as it doesn't have a tight seal at closure. Bag has also shown worn after 3-4 uses.

Been buying and using the Cool Green Bag for years from the same manufacturer, but had generally avoided these versions as they did not have a flat bottom. But when I tried to find replacements for my usual they seemed to be no longer available other than in bulk so I hunted around and took a chance that these had the flat bottom and they do! So if anyone was wondering like I was there's your answer, these have the flat bottom when opened and hold a lot, cashiers often ask if they put too much in and made it too heavy it holds so much. These are durable, the only thing they don't resist well is my cat chewing n them (don't know why he likes to chew on them).

UPDATE- I used these again for a hot dinner for our first responders! One had chili and a little spilled inside but it was contained in the bad and not my car! Plus the food stayed hot!I used these for Thanksgiving Dinner. I made dinner for about 20 people and had to drive just over an hour. All the food was warm and the stuff I took out of the over was still hot. These are bags that can been used for maybe 10 times if your easy on them. That’s why they are cheap. But they are made well!!! They did the trick for me on keeping food warm for just over an hour in the car!

We recently moved from the city to a property in the country well outside of town - my drive from the grocery store to home is about 30 miles. I purchased these to transport perishable groceries - especially dairy and frozen items - back home. I have used these with frozen meat, milk, and refrigerated desserts and they all were still frozen or cold just as when I left the store back in town. A couple of weeks ago I purchased frozen meat at the local meat locker and ran errands for a couple of hours after that. Arriving back home about 3 hours later on a 85 degree day, everything was still frozen and had not thawed a bit. I also recently used these to pick up pizza at a local pizzeria about 20 miles away and the pizza and breadsticks were still warm when I arrived home. These are definitely worth every penny and I will certainly buy more in the future if I need more. One thing to note is that these will only hold a small pizza. The medium pizza would not quite fit in the bag, so I plan to purchase a few of the jumbo size bags as well.

Good for chips and snacks but not good for anything else. The bags don't stay closed, they don't keep things hot or cold. They're just oversized storage bags.
