Fuel pump for Dodge ram
This was an exact fit and match. Very quiet. Once I removed the extremely heavy full gas tank, lol installation was actually pretty easy. Has performed well,as I'm getting gas now. Seems like a very durable pump. The price was really good, definitely saved myself from purchasing locally.

Works great
Bought for 2005 Ram 2500 and it ran great. Fixed the long crank and power loss issues. Fuel gauge still works

The pumps works, but the fuel level sending unit does not
Update October 7, 2019: One month of use, not even two tanks of gas, and the pump is starting to die. I supposed the upside is that I have to replace this pump and I won't be tempted to continue to put up with the faulty fuel level sending unit. Don't waste your money or time on this product!Update September 29, 2019: After 25 days, I am certain that the fuel level sending unit is faulty. Like another reviewer, the fuel level can read differently each time I start the car and it can be vary by up to 1/4 tank. What a disappointment. I either need to replace it again or constantly worry that I run out of fuel.Update September 9, 2019: Well, the 7th time I started the car (5th time driving the car) after replacing the pump, the fuel gauge read full, and it has continued to read full for 4 more short drives. All of these trips were 2 miles or less, so I'm expecting it to still read full. Definitely looking better than it was 4 days ago. I noticed another reviewer said that their fuel gauge had a different reading every time the vehicle was started and a couple others said their fuel level sending unit quit working after a few weeks. I hope that's not what's going on with this pump. I'm changing my rating to 3 stars for now and will update again in another week or two.Original Review September 6, 2019:I installed this pump last night in a 2009 Chrysler 300 2.7L with 18-gallon tank. The vehicle symptoms were long crank times and occasional stuttering on startup and they had been getting worse for 2 years. Measuring the fuel pressure showed it to be well below spec.I drove the car until it had 1/8 of a tank of fuel before I installed this pump. After installing, the car started right up like new, but the fuel gauge showed much less than 1/8 tank. I filled up the this morning at a station less than 1 mile away. The receipt shows I added 16.3 gallons, add that to 1/8 tank that was already in there (2.25) and it should have 18.5 gallons. The fuel level reads 5/8 tank, so it's obvious the fuel level sending unit in the new pump is bad.So, I've just spent $40 and an hour of my time to trade one problem (long crank time) for another (incorrect fuel level).

Last minute buy! Wasn’t to sure about it but I was wrong! Also very fast shipping
This item was a last minute emergency buy for my car due to it not wanting to stay running and every time I pressed on the gas it would not go and shake then cut off on me. I wasn’t so sure about this product due to not having reviews & also for the price. It was the best price on Amazon plus it included the O-ring which was the best! Since not all fuel pumps on here come with O-rings and need to buy them separately. Got here the next day got it on the car & boom .. Started like it did when brand new.. Fuel pump does have power to it & also very quiet , it’s been working amazing honestly I didn’t expect to get a very good pump for that kind of price also with shipping being so quick! As long as you go by the book and install everything correctly you shouldn’t have no issues at all! I step on the gas and it picks up speed so quick I forgot my car ran that way… I would recommend to anyone who is on a budget and don’t got much to spend this product will last

Check you connection if sending unit stops reading after a few miles!
This fuel pump is a great price and continues to work 4500 miles in. One thing i would like to share is the power connector with all the wiring for the pump and the sending unit come unsnapped on the side with the sending unit wires, causing the sending unit to quit after about 2000 miles after replacement. I thought at first, this was why this unit was so cheap and assumed i was going to have to replace it again. After investigating, I snapped the connector back on good and the fuel gauge instantly began working again! All you guys commenting that your sending unit quit need to check this connector well. At first it appeared to be connected and the fuel pump never stopped pumping. I think these connectors get warped and disfigured over time and can sometimes appear to be connected and are for the pump side, but are not making a good connection on the sending unit side.I wanted to share, pump is still working!

You get what you pay for, cheap is not always good.
What I liked about the part is that is the right fuel pump for the 2004 Dodge ram, and it wasn't to bad to install. I have done this before though. However be mindful that this is an aftermarket part for cheap. Cheap is not always good, You get what you pay for. This fuel pump was purchased in february and installed in april 2023, so 7months ago with maybe 4000 to 5000 miles on it and, the fuel level sensor failed on the fuel pump. With that being said, I will have to bye another fuel pump and drop the tank again to replace it. So if you are purchacing a fuel pump for cheap, just think about it, you may have to do this again, sooner than later. To DWVO i'm not happy about this. Stay safe and keep on wrenching.P.S. don't forget to buy another fuel ruel pump locking ring.
