We bought this for our old granny dog who is always cold and is rough on her blankets. When it arrived, it was so soft I almost kept it for myself! She drags her blanket around the house, worms her way under it and rolls herself up, wears it as a cloak...this poor blanket receives a lot of abuse. She's had it for over a month now. I wash it about once a week and it has retained its softness and original texture. I haven't noticed any thin spots yet. The pic below was taken this morning.

I ordered this beautiful purple HYSEAS Velvet Plush Throw from Amazon while testing out their PRIME membership and It arrived in two days just as promised.The luxurious feel of the blanket is wonderful and the brilliant color was not done justice by the photo online. It measures exactly as it should and the stitching around the hem if done perfectly. This blanket has some weight to it and is not just a cheap knock off of a throw. It does say in the directions NOT to use fabric softener on it and it should be hung up to dry. When washing it and drying I found that washing it on delicate cold and placing it in the dryer or "air dry" with a fabric softener SHEET allowed it to come out just as soft, fluffy, and colorful as it was when I removed it from the package.When buying blankets in the future HYSEAS brand will be at the top of my list for sure.Great buy at a great price.

I bought this -- this is going to sound odd, I know -- as a present for the cat.If you're after warmth, you may want to keep looking; this is a thin throw. If, however, you're shopping for softness, I honestly can't imagine finding a softer blanket out there. Neither can the cat, apparently; it was out of the package for all of two and a half seconds before his eyes got big and he was pressing himself into it, aiming for maximum surface area contact, curling his toes up and everything. I thought he was going to pass out from the rapture.Honestly, I can't imagine a better testimonial than that.

For the low price I was very surprised at the quality. This is a small throw. 5 feet long and good for a child or smaller adult, not great for a tall person or as adult bedspread. Thin but substantial and warmer than you would think. Mine does not shed and washes nicely. Soft, pretty! Looks EXACTLY like the picture.

Beautiful plush soft personal sized throw blanket. This little blanket was a nice surprise of being light weight, warm and well constructed. It is perfect for travel. I can fold it up, put it in my tote and conveniently carry it to sporting events, kids activities, etc. It is nice have close by for snuggly use while reading my book or put in my car for a little extra warmth for my children as we travel this holiday season. Love the rich color and beautiful sheen. So far, I haven't had the material attract pet hair from our multiple pet household which I can not say about our past throw blankets. I wavered on this purchase for a long time but am glad I chose this one. I only wish it were a couple inches longer! But it's seriously the softest, silkiest throw I've ever felt, and I've owned quite a few. It's not as much fluffy as it is silky, but it's still plush enough to make my cat obsessed with kneading it every time before settling down. Toe-curling, indeed, as another reviewer said! :) Importantly, it hasn't snagged or frayed at all yet, despite the kneading (often with very sharp claws). Other throws I've had tend to pill and snag. I've had it a few months now; we'll see if it continues to hold up. In the meantime, I think I'll buy another. It's a bit too warm for it now that it's summer, but it feels so good, I (and my cat) can't help but keep using it!Oh, and the teal is lovely and richly colored...slightly more on the greener side of teal, just fyi. It looks better in person than in the product photos, but the color was true, at least on my screen.

The cozy and warm throw measuring 50 X 60, is anti-pilling. .I plan to use it as an accent on my sofa because it has such a warm inviting color that will brighten the place up. The throw blanket is quality fabric that is shrink resistant, and it will retain its softness even after several washes. Because the blanket is 5 feet long, it is ideal for a child or smaller adult. The seams are well sewn all the way around with no loose threads or seams. I ordered my blanket in the burgundy color and it is certainly true to color.The washing instructions say to machine wash in cold water with similar colors and do not bleach. Also air fluff only and tumble dry low.

I don't think I have ever felt a softer blanket than this one. It is so soft and cozy. I like to use this to wrap around myself when I wake I in the mornings. It makes getting out of bed a little easier, especially when it is a cold morning. I also use this to keep me warm and comfortable while relaxing on the couch and watching a movie. It is pretty thin, so perfect for those days when it's not too freezing, but you really want to snuggle up with a nice, soft blanket. I have to say, it's probably the softest blanket I own. I got the white/ivory color, and it matches everything. It can be folded at the end of the bed, or thrown decoratively on the couch. It's a good price for an extra piece of extreme comfort. I mean, come on...you can't go wrong with another fuzzy blanket.
