I am giving these 5 stars because overall, they are pretty good.The packaging is a plus. Sturdy holder and slip to place them securely back into, is a welcomed feature. The colors are pretty true. After shaking and priming the pens as instructed, they apply pretty well. I can build up the thickness of lines pretty well when needed. Occassionally, they did want to build up more on the applicator tip, but blotting the tip helps this. I had no issue with dripping or running.After baking at 225f for 30 mins (pack says 200-230 for 25-30min), and letting them cool, I tested the applied colors. They remained with water running over them, as well as a soft finger rub. However, the test area came off with a sponge. So, hand washing would be best from my results with the cups we did. Though, I may try baking them once more amd testing.Overall, I am happy with them for their price. They provide for fun projects.

Thanks amazing paint pens and some garage sale stoneware mugs were the highlight of my 7 year old's "Cocoa and Cookies" themed birthday party! She and her friends made amazing designs and the mugs baked while they enjoyed cookie decorating, games and presents. Everyone got to take home a personalized mug, cocoa packet, marshmallows, and cookies. It was an amazing success after having to miss out on parties for 2 Covid-filled years!The pens were easy to use (prime them before planning to use them), came in great colors, and set up nicely.

Works as advertised and I am verry happy . Perfect for my intended use to coves smalls chips in some of my favorite pieces. A photo is useless. I should have done before and after. one of my favorite bowls had a small chip in the grapes pattern. Sango Sangria . Now I cannot fined the spot that was chipped. Little things. Two of my children bought the bowl for me when they were in middle school. Now they have children of their own. Little things

I was hoping that my kids could each decorate a white corelle. It does work at first but after 2 washes in the dishwasher is flakes off really bad. The gold didn't want to bake on at all. I will try on some other material as they do work really well and easy application.

First time using these and got to admit, the paint is smooth, easy flowing and porcelain like coming right out of the pen.The fine tip makes it possible to fill in small areas and make small details.I found you can vary the opacity of the paints on the porcelain by how much paint and how many coats you use.Also pleased with the packaging. I wasn’t expecting such a decent pen holder!

Thank God we found these! They were the only paints available that I could get before Mother’s Day so I took a chance even though we were painting terra-cotta pots. They still worked awesome! So easy to use all for all of the kids! Had a little bit of an issue every once in a while with way too much coming out, but not often enough for me not to totally recommend them!

I ordered both fine and medium tipped sets because I wasn't sure what my project - detailing art work on a child's alphabet blocks - would call for. The blocks are 1 1/2" cubes of hard maple.The pens worked fine for this project until the black fine-tipped pen released a gob of paint which smeared the surface of a block. Perhaps I should have been more attentive to shaking the unit, but I had been working with the pen for about half an hour without issues. It's sure not a case of life or death, but frustrating nevertheless. I also noted a slight tendency for the ink to bleed into the hardwood. I would expect that use of these pens with softer woods might present a problem, so trial pieces are always recommended.In retrospect I may have chosen the wrong medium but I wanted to use acrylic paint and my brush skills aren't up to par.Overall the ease of use and coverage are great. The "blob" and associated rework of my project caused me to lower the overall rating to "average." In terms of choices for the future, I will simply shake the pens more frequently and keep my eyes open for a good alternative.

Great product for high school students who love art!

I have used these to decorate about a dozen coffee mugs for myself and friends. The Medium point set are a little difficult to be accurate with but if you make a mistake you can just wipe it off with a damp paper towel and fix it. The fine point set is much more manageable. After they are fired (Placed in the oven to cure) they are quite durable but not dishwasher safe. I am creative but not artistically inclined and really enjoy playing with these.If you have any artistic talent you will love these. Children would DEFINITELY have to be carefully supervised while using these! Really fun product, highly recommended.

We used these to make some custom coffee/tea mugs and they worked great.We have also tried using them on a wooden canvas and they worked well on that surface.They can smudge a bit if you are not careful but that is true of all paint.

I received it late. the quality was not something that I expected. It was so so.
