Absolutely love this book!
I've used this book with my various students, who I tutor. It presents different learning games such as-fractions; decimals; adding up to 20; putting cards in order from greatest to least (or reverse); etc. in card games. This book is perfect for parents, teachers for small group learning centers, tutors, or anyone else, who works with kids on reinforcing math skills in a fun way. Guaranteed!

A super fun way to reinforce math skills in classroom centers!
This book offers many card games that are easy to understand and easy to teach. Each card game reinforces specific math skills or concepts, and the book is organized so that you can easily find a game to match up with the skill you are working on with your class. I am using this with a third grade class, and I could see it being great for fourth and maybe fifth as well.

A Fun Way to Master Math Skills!
A Fun Way to Master Math Skills!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Help students meet the math standards with this fantastic collection of 25 skill-building card games and activities! As a teacher with 28 years of experience, I’ve seen how motivating games can be for kids, encouraging them to play again and again while developing automaticity in computation. Here’s why this collection is a winner:The games cover a wide range of key math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, decimals, averages, coordinate geometry, and more. It’s a comprehensive way to ensure students are getting the practice they need in a fun and engaging format. Each game comes with easy step-by-step directions and reproducible card templates, making it simple for teachers to prepare and implement. No need for complicated setups—just print, play, and watch your students’ skills soar.Kids love the interactive nature of these card games, and the variety ensures that they stay interested and challenged. Incorporating these games into your lessons can help boost engagement and motivation, making math more enjoyable for everyone. Here are my top five favorite games from this book:Addition War: A fun twist on the classic card game War, where students compare sums to see who wins the round.Fraction Frenzy: This game helps students master fractions by matching equivalent fractions and performing simple operations.Decimal Dash: A fast-paced game that reinforces decimal addition and subtraction, perfect for keeping students on their toes.Multiplication Bingo: A classroom favorite that turns multiplication practice into an exciting Bingo game.Coordinate Geometry Quest: Students plot points on a coordinate grid to find hidden treasures, making geometry practice an adventure. Why not five stars, you ask? While the games are excellent, I found that a few more advanced options could be included to cater to higher-level learners. However, this is a minor issue considering the overall benefits. In summary, this collection is a valuable resource for any classroom looking to enhance math learning through play. It’s an effective way to reinforce important skills and keep students excited about math.

Lots of games to choose from.
The book covers on many topics and my students enjoy all of them. Would be helpful if it came with a pack of cards but no biggie.

Good ideas, but I ended up inventing my own.
This was a good way to brainstorm games. But I wasn't aiming at 3rd graders, so these games were a little complicated. Also, I decided to focus on putting the rules for my own games on extra cards to bundle with the deck so that you can easily bring them along. Perhaps if the book came with a cutout with the rules for each game it would've worked better for me. But cards come in many sizes, so it's hard to match up.Good ideas, but not great for the older kids I work with.

The games in this book are so much fun and so ridiculously simple while surreptitiously demanding serious math focus from kids. My Grade 5 kid is HIGHLY resistant to math and HIGHLY stressed about it. Using the games in this book, she has been tricked into using some pretty heavy-duty math skills without ever realizing it. A+ for home remediation/practice and also classroom use. Can be used at different ability levels, even in the same classroom or home school.
