It’s very cute and soft. The ears flop around so once baby starts rolling over and grabbing things I wouldn’t leave them unattended for a second. I think it would be very cute for newborn photos and as a changing pad. It came in a bag and is very wrinkled so I will use a steam iron on it before giving as a gift.

Super pleased with our Giraffe play mat. For now we have it beside the crib almost like a rug--which works well for showing scale in the photo. But the fabric is very soft. It is well constructed. And the floppy ears are sure to delight our son when he starts moving around. it matches our decor quite well and I know the photos to come will be great. I will say this arrived in some very sturdy vacuum packing. You'll need scissors to liberate it.

This mat is adorable and perfect to lay a baby on while playing with a wooden play gym. This is in no way a rug and I would not use it as such because it’s a trip hazard.

Bought this for our daughter’s nursery. It’s super cute and soft. It’s also a great size for what it is. Would make a great blanket for her to lay on or as a rug on the floor. I washed it and of course the ears got bent and lopsided but I’m sure if I ironed it, it would take better shape. Love this rug and would definitely recommend.

This rug is super cute but it is not as big as I thought it would be. I am also having a hard time getting the wrinkles out and some of the material is a little stiff

This product is not appropriate to be used for a rug, but is an awesome play mat. Just be cautious it is slippery if child walks upon it.
