Expensive but worth it
Uncle Roger was right. Get this baby working and you'll pull in a crowd. Rice smells great when it is cooking. The bowl is smooth like butter with the nonstick. The stainless steel matches well with my kitchen. The buttons and the cute song always make me happy. Believe me when I tell you this puppy cooks up the best rice you've ever had at home. I cook 5.5 cups at a time and its the perfect capacity for my hosting. Ive had guests who have loved my rice so much they buy this rice cooker and everytime i call them they just tell me about their awesome rice now. Friends have told me i have restaurant quality rice at home now. We have always had great rice in our Filipino household but this rice cooker is now in our prized possession. I was skeptical with the price but in our opinion it was worth it. 10/10 gold stars 🌟

Great quality and price
This is a great machine, probably the best. Don’t take my Latin card away, but I eat rice every day and it never came out to my satisfaction in the pot on the stovetop. Even though this machine is not made in Japan, don’t let that prevent you from buying. It’s very well-made to the manufacturers quality and specifications. As of the date of this review, it’s selling at pre-tariff prices so it’s a great deal.

Best rice cooker!
I shopped around quite awhile before I purchased this on a recommendation by my daughter in law. Hers came from Japan so I wasn’t sure I could find the same model. It works like a dream. Super easy to use and keeps rice warm and moist for days.

Game Changer
This has been a life changer. I was on the fence about getting a rice cooker, and this one is a bit on the pricey side. but it not only simplifies it to the extreme, but has so many settings and functionalities. I cannot recommend this enough to those who will pay for it, or like me wait for it to go on sale. Easy to use, easy to store and easy to clean.

Perfect rice that can be held warm all day!
I've always used single-switch rice cookers, and you have to use the perfect ratio in order to even come close to a decent result.I've never been able to hold it more than an hour or so without the bottom becoming crispy, but with this rice cooker, it's more forgiving, as it soaks for 30 mins then cooks for the other 30, holding and releasing steam as it goes.I made white rice then added a homemade ragu after cooking, and it lasted nearly 24 hours before starting to get crispy on the bottom.Even if you only cook rice once a week, this is well worth the investment, especially now when it's only around $170.

The Cadillac of rice cookers!
This definitely is the Cadillac of rice cookers! It makes quite a lot and best for a large family. I am experimenting with cooking and freezing in smaller bags as the texture when done is perfect and saves me making rice every time I need it.It is a beautiful, sturdy piece of equipment on the counter when using it and the settings are easy to follow. I haven't tried any other grain yet but I am sure it will do everything just as well as it does the rice. Best of all I don't ever have to worry about burning the rice on the stove any more!

Slow rice cooker -> 30-60min; love the steam tray and retractable cord!
I cook rice every day so this piece of equipment is essential and I ahve always used Zojirushi and revently Tiger (Costco) but my inner pot coating is peeling and thus I decided it was time to upgrade. To tell you the truth I dont know if i am keeping so here is the good and the bad. The features that I felt were important were easily covered in this model.I wanted a steaming rack as I am a "lazy cook". I do simple one pot meals such as ginger scallion steam fish, steam eggs, dim sum , veggies, while I am cooking rice so I wanted a steaming rack that I could use when I was cooking rice and this definitely fits the bill. Its makes white rice (which is 98% of what I do) just fine BUT, it takes forever. I am also an all of a sudden - oops I forgot to make the rice cooking speed is important. The quick function does it in 30-40 min which is wayyyyy to long for me. I have seen other brands with 12-20 min and that is really what I am looking for. So if speed is important - look elsewhere or look at induction rice cookers. The other thing I like is that this model has a handle and a retractable plug so its neat and tidy and easy to move around. This also cooks other types of rice and congee but it will take longer - I just used white rice as my benchmark. So everyone's needs are different but mine were white rice cooking speed, steaming tray, retractable plug...and obviously quality etc. One last thing, I noticed the hinge of the rice cooker doesn't go all the way up - you need to bend it back more so that you can easily put your pot in. Not a big deal but more of a nuisance.
