Valuable resource for all trainers
This well-written resource has a simple structure that allows it to be read or simply dived into as a 'pick n mix buffet' of ideas. The writers add their own tone of experience that adds value beyond a run-of-the-mill gamers-trainers-play book. It's also refreshing to have the purpose of each of these activities stressed, as opposed to the bad old days when games were 'played' for their own sake - a period that degraded training's rep for a while. All of this is tied strongly to enhancing the learning environment and process. As a trainer, I'm an old dog and this book has given me more than a few new tricks. Highly recommended.

Review
Really impressed with the layout of this book easy to find a suitable activity very quickly, great for new facilitators coming on board and easy to adapt activities for multiple group types.

Good try but uninspired
I found of a couple of small bits of useful advice but most of it was tired, overused tips and stories. I'm glad I read it through Kindle Unlimited. For me, it is not worth paying for.

Some nuggets among mostly duds
I found about 10-12 good activities here, but unfortunately I hade to wade through many duds. This book could have been better by striving for quality over quantity.

Excellent collection of fresh activities with debrief questions
I've been in the post-secondary education field for more than a decade, with 5 of those as a professor in various US states and Peru. I've scoured the internet and books for interactive activities for my classes as I move from sage on the stage to guide on the side. This book has fresh and creative ideas that I haven't run across before, with some variations on some great classics. I've had the book about a week now and I have already used activities in a professional and church youth group setting. Great book - great activities, stories, and I definitely appreciate the "how to" portion to facilitate the activities and maybe even more importantly - debrief questions/ideas to connect the activity to their experience so they can apply the lesson(s) in their life. A+++ would recommend!
