This item is very easy to use. Makes prepping apples for cooking so much easier. I don't put it in the dishwasher, I hand wash it so not sure what it's like when you wash it in the dishwasher. It does sometimes bend at the joint where the handle is but you can bend it back and it's fine again.

Bought this to replace very old peeler of similar design. It works very well and seems well made.

i was used to use this kind of peeler, so it's good for me, I am not sure about other people's. but it definitely given you good holding technic to peel anything of any size, so as per me it's good.

Can cut through apples ok but harder fruits and veggies the metal handle is weak and bent a couple of times. Would be better more sturdy

The crappy handle is a plastic core with a thin metal tube over it. Sadly, when force is applied, the glue holding the tube fails and it slips, but doesn't come off all the way, making unusable, as well as dropping shards of plastic into whatever you are mashing. Terrible product.
