GM Genuine Parts GT195 (22591476) Fuel Tank Filler Cap

Perfect fit for a 1986 GMC 2500 pickup. Actually deactivated my check engine light. I would buy again. Assuming I begin collecting old trucks.

For my 1994 Chevy S10 PU, this was exactly the correct part.

Fits perfectly. I had previously purchased an aftermarket gas cap which had great reviews and ,while it fit initially, it turns out that it was very difficult to remove because a rubber gasket always slipped down into the cap threads.

After having nothing but trouble with the poor fit/leaks from locking fuel caps, I've gone back to standard fuel caps. I'm glad I read the reviews before purchasing. This one by ACDelco fits like a glove. No leaks, no problems! Very happy with the quality, cost, and fit. Highly recommend.

So , my bonny will be antique next year. Got 29 years off the the gas cap before I replaced it. Works great and I think it is to OEM specs. Actually thought my old gas cap might not be sealing because I was losing average fuel mileage. It urns out it was throttle position sensor that went bad, All good now.

It fits and it hasn't fallen apart.

As pictured & described. Good Quality. Direct Fit 1980 Pontiac Firebird. Not much else to say. Probably fits a bunch of 1980's GM vehicles.
