Great rexcord but first track skips. Think it is just that way. No visible scratch n does same thing on both of my record players

Perfect condition! It sounds fantastic!

As a long-time fan, I have gotten all the remasters, and so, even though I never liked this release, I bit the bullet and got the cd. Upon its initial release, I was disappointed it was just a best-of collection and not a whole concert, but much more than that was the tinny, off-putting sound of the original. Well, this release has a great balance--you can actually hear Lee Sklar now! (actually really well)--and I can't stop listening. It's been in the car since it came out, and, unusually for me, I haven't wanted to take it out after many listens. It's really fun, sound is great, and even though it's just hits, I find myself enjoying the tracklist and flow of it. So, from this fan (FV and HIMBG are my faves, for reference), I say dive in, and have fun with Phil and his Serious Band!

I was hesitant to order this vinyl after reading reviews indicating it has pressing issues that led to skipping. But because Amazon has a reasonable return policy, I gave it a shot anyway. When it arrived and I played it for the first time, the first track on side one of the album one skipped at the beginning, and I grabbed the packaging expecting to immediately return it. But I decided to leave it playing and, sure enough, the skipping stopped. It wasn't the type of skipping that makes the track repeat; it is more or an actual skip. Being that it was only at the beginning of the first song and I could put the needle just beyond it, I have decided to keep the collection anyway. Skipping issues aside, this is a wonderful collection of some of Phil Collin's greatest hits. I believe the live performances enhance the emotionality of some of the slower songs such as "Separate Lives," "Against All Odds," and "In the Air Tonight." Th only song I wish would have been included is "I Wish it Would Rain Down"-- what a truly amazing. heartfelt song.

I usually don't like live music CDs, but the music on this CD is twice as Musical, sounds totally awesome.

The music itself is great and a classic. The mastering is very good. A noticeable improvement on the previous release (which itself sounded quite good). The overall sound is very clear in the remastering. Now let’s get to the issue that gives this release a one star rating. Like many others on here I purchased the vinyl version because there were no bonus tracks on this re-release and I already have the original release on CD. I unfortunately had the very same issue with 3 large skips on the first track on the first record and many skips throughout the other sides of each disc. I sent mine back and got another, same skips in all of the same places. I received a 3rd copy and had the same issue. Amazon was great about returning my money for the records. I decided to contact Atlantic and Rhino to see about getting a copy without pressing plant issues. I heard back from Rhino customer service who sent me over to Dr. Rhino who they told me was a specialist in these matters. He informed me that if I sent a copy of the receipt he would sent me out a copy without pressing plant problems. I sent the receipt to him and have never heard back nor seen the copy he was supposed to send. I have emailed him back 4 more times over the past 2 months and have not heard a word. Perhaps some of you others with this issue can have better results. His email is [email protected] or [email protected]. If you like "live" you will really like this. This is one great CD.

The best thing I ever bought
