The Little Book of Woodland Bird Songs Hardcover – Sound Book, September 25, 2018

Our toddler loves this book series. The sounds are all natural and true to the bird species. The pictures are great, and the facts are fun. This is absolutely a book our son will be able to grow into and learn from as he gets older.

Smaller than I anticipated, but excellent quality. It is a BOARD BOOK (may be obvious to someone else but I didn’t realize it). Very sturdy as we take it outside to watch and listen to the birds. The recorded bird sounds are very clear and great quality. Pictures are real photos, which is great!! There is a little information on each bird, perfect for ages 4-7, and even older if someone is just a beginner bird watcher. I love this book (and the other one, about backyard birds). Great purchase!!

Bought this book for my 9 year old grandson and 6 year old granddaughter and they love it! Realistic bird calls and interesting facts about each bird. As a bird lover, I enjoy the book too

My grandson's love this book. The book mimics the sounds great, and the book is very structured to last little one's toughness on books. The boys are 1 and 3 years old.

Bought this for a 6 year old child to enhance her knowledge of birds as she and her daddy go hiking and camping. The feature of being able to hear the bird songs while seeing the picture and reading the description is very helpful in identification. Highly recommend this book!

So important that little ones get to know birds. I bought my grandson Backyard Birds for Christmas. ( He was 18 months) and he learned to identify all those birds by sight and song. The request came for this book for his upcoming 2nd birthday! I am going to give it to him before June so he can know these birds when he turns two. He loves it, so does I. Lovely illustrations. quality sound and sturdy construction. Swell worth it!

My 4 year old grandson absolutely loves these bird and animal books. He knows which birds are in which book. He loves using the books to have conversations with the same birds in the garden and he knows the difference between different types of owl and that they have different calls. Just great at helping learn about birds and animals.

What a lovely book that transports you right into the surroundings described in its pages.Birdsong recordings are quite lovely indeed.And, buttons and speaker assembly look sturdy enough for repeat pushes from the grimiest of little fingers.

I gave this book to my 3 yr old grandson for his birthday; it became an instant success as the "calls" all match precisely what he hears when he joins us here in the countryside. For almost two years now, this book and the companion "Little Book" I bought for him to enjoy at his downtown home have become favourites for us to read together. This in itself has made the purchase invaluable; he can now identify birds on his own as he goes for walks, and he has even tried to call out to them. Perfect in every way! And having stood the test of time and child use, these same books are now a focal point for his 16 month old brother as he begins his Nature learning adventure. Highly recommended!
