Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-12T Single 12" 300-Watt Amplified Truck Sealed Box Subwoofer - Black

2nd purchase. I bought the 1st one (10 inch powered sub) for my work truck. After installation and tuning it sounded way better than I expected. I recently bought a new personal truck and purchased a 12 inch powered sub. Same brand. The 12 didn’t sound as good or better like I thought it would in my personal truck. So I ordered another 10 inch and installed it. It sounds incredible!!! Now it turns out the dynamics of the cab space and the positioning of the sub does matter. Both my work truck and my personal truck sound amazing. My advice is to try different speaker positions in the cab of your vehicle. Experiment with it. I’m thoroughly impressed by performance of this sub. Best bang for my buck and that’s rare these days. Rockford Fosgate definitely has the 10” powered sub dialed in.

Put this on my 22' pontoon and the difference is night and day. It is PERFECT for music. The sealed design and built in crossover lets you dial it in to give the perfect punch for music without being boomy or obnoxious. Super punchy, very tight, very responsive bass. Can feel it in the water when swimming! No distortion even at high volumes, no rattles, just pure tight deep bass. And it is super compact and a very quick/easy install, all for under $200! I can confirm the auto on/off function works great as well. This was a big time saver as I just mounted the sub in my 12v battery compartment, connected power and then ran line out from head unit. It comes on automatically when radio turned on, shuts off promptly when signal goes away to avoid phantom power draw. No need to run a remote turn on switch. Awesome!

Sounds great, obviously won't hit like a full size 12, but it's not bad at all for a shallow 12. Makes good full sound in a small car. If you're short on space it is a perfect option, definitely not underwhelming. Easy to remove if you need more room all connections are on a single plug so you don't have to remove the fuse or anything. Rockford Fosgate never dissapoints.

Anyone that knows the name already knows that thing hits. I was going for balanced sound in my truck. I don't want to rattle the neighbors windows, and I'm not looking for the neighborhood to know when I'm coming down the street. But it sure rattles the rear view mirror. Just small enough to fit under the back seat in my crew cab. If you see the pictures in other reviews you will see it sticks out about an inch. After installing I kept the gain way down to break it in, once I did the bass is incredible. Do yourself a favor, get a 4 gage install kit. Fosgate hits harder with more power to it. What else can I tell you. Ordered it had it the next day. The box has a great finish. The bass is clean. I almost expected it to be sort of muddy, since it's not ported but I should have known better. The boys in tempe know what they are doing. I like hard rock it's snappy enough to hit hard with rock. It also hits with rap, Biggie, Tupac and west side connection will really move it. No matter your taste in music it will make you smile ear to ear. I finally stepped up to this Fosgate powered 10” subwoofer and couldn’t be happier . Install was super simple with included instructions and an amp wiring kit is a must . The box fits perfectly under my rear seat in my 2021 F150 , and if I need more room this box is simple to unplug and remove .thanks to a simple wire harness that plugs in or unplugs . As far as sound , It’s not overpowering in fact , it’s just right and enough to shake the windows and your mirrors if you like . It’s the perfect addition to my oem stereo giving me the bass it was lacking . Always known Fasgate as one of the best and certainly glad I chose this subwoofer as it fits my needs perfect .. It’s not cheap but not overly expensive and a great buy when you find it on sale like I did .. Can’t go wrong with this one

Great speaker, been using it for 4 years

This is the perfect size to fit snugly behind the rear seat of my 2021 Ram 2500 Mega cab. The install was easy enough and the speaker connections were made simple. This however is more of a base module than a sub. I have a JL…8” powered my a mono block amp and it gets quite a bit lower. This does fill in the bottom end and sounds clean. I prefer the non-ported version in my truck for a tighter base. The knob installs nicely and works well. I left all controls on the box at their lowest level and it’s nowhere near 50Hz. Gain down low is fine and the auto turn on is fantastic. All in all it’s very nice and great for the money. Someone on here summed it up perfectly by saying you won’t win competitions with it but it will enhance a stock stereo.

Love this. I'm no audio Wizz. It's always been a task for me to pick the right sub and amp. i don't want to do that. This serves my function more than I thought. Run a few cords and that's it. She slaps. If you're realistic in your needs and aren't trying to let the next block listen to your music, GRAB THIS. It's very loud and thumps.

Hab den Sub in meinen Audi A4 B8 AVANT eingebaut. Anschluss alles easy und braucht sehr wenig Platz. Für die Größe hat das Ding einen wahnsinns Wumms. Alles aus dem Bereich Electronic, Techno, Trance hat einen kräftigen und tiefen, trockenen Punch ohne zu übersteuern. Wer viel Metal, oder Rock hört, sollte sich nach etwas anderem umsehen, da gerade für schnelle doublebass Titel die Membrane zu langsam ist und der Sound hier etwas zermatscht.

Great little sub box. I installed it in a day cab Peterbilt. Easy install and sounds good for what it is. Not earth pounding but when setting are done right after the break-in period it sounds great

Added to my OEM Toyota Tundra to fill out the missing bass. This thing hits hard. I ran it tapped off the speaker inputs. With the crossover dialed to 50hz, the bass booster at 0dB, and the remote gain knob at only 40% you are shaking. Impressive all in one unit. I would recommend this P300 series to anyone.

I purchased this for my 2017 Honda Accord Touring. Using with the stock sound system . . . wanted a little more bass presence than the factory sub could provide. I have been very impressed with the enclosure. It does not take up too much space and is easily removed should I need the space. As far as installs go, this one is very easy and straight forward. I recommend finding a way to secure the box if using in a trunk or hatch.
