Upstart Crow Christmas Specials [DVD] [2019]

One of the funniest programmes I’ve ever watched and I highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys a really good laugh with no offensive language.

I only caught the end of Series 2 on the (UK) TV, and saw the 2018 Christmas special. Bought this to see what the other 'special' was like. Found both very funny. Great stuff. Would recommend, especially as a present at this time of year.

What a wonderful,funny,clever,well acted and produced series this is-- I do hope there wil be more! Such a laugh and so keenly obsserved

I love this series, even the downbeat ending of the third series, but for sheer acting ability Emma Thompson as Elizabeth I takes the prize.

I love this series, David Mitchell's brand of humour makes me smile and giggle the whole way through this series. As for the DVD product though, I'm very disappointed. I feel that these specials should've been included with their relevant series box sets, instead of another full price box set. It seems greedy to release a box set with half the normal number of episodes on, and charge the same amount for it on release.

Well what did I expect with the calibre of actors and comedians involved. A purely joyful experience.

My only issue with this is the fact that it is short and there are only two futtocking episodes. The take on Dickens' A Christmas Carol is wonderful.

A very good comedy, David Mitchell was great as William Shakespeare. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys a good English comedy. Especially if they suffered Shakespeare at school.
