With a bit of work . . .
I picked this up to get back into guitar after not playing for years. I have some other guitars, but my son's been playing them, and I wanted one to make my own. The included tuners work fine, but were slightly out of tune every time I got it out to play so I swapped in some locking tuners and problem solved. The pickups have that slightly muddy sound people often associate with LPs. I didn't care for it, so I swapped it out for a SD Black Winter and WOW. Guitar sounds like a $1000 bucks now. My son, who is a damn good player and way into the theory and all that jazz was mightily impressed. I love the look of the guitar, which is honestly why I bought it in the first place. Feels good in my hands. Though I'm a bit on the thick fingered side, and am having to relearn how to place my fingers at times to not mute the string below it. If you are looking for a fun, inexpensive guitar to play with, this one is a good one to start with.Edit: I ended up replacing the neck since the one it comes with is pretty narrow. Still pretty pleased overall though as the price of the guitar as a whole is about what you'd pay for a pre-finished LP body. I've had a ton of fun playing around with swapping things out on this guitar. Great for anyone willing to learn how to work on a guitar.

Sounds like a dream and plays like butter!
I wasn’t expecting much when I bought this beauty. I like the way it looks and figured, if necessary, I would swap out the pick-ups. I write and play mostly speed and thrash metal and was just looking for something to write with. I play through a Peavey Vypyr 2 and it seems like this baby was made for my amp. It sounds great! No swap outs necessary. It’s got a really nice, easy to play neck. This guitar is great for beginners and intermediate players and for pro level players looking for an extra writing axe.

Great for the price
This guitar is built as well as a Squier but the pickups sound even better than a Squier. Great intonation and not too much of a setup is needed out of the box.

Great bargain guitar. Also check out Firefly.
Great 🎸 guitar. I had no issues with mine although cI did return it, but not because of the quality, but because I overspent, and a friend ended up giving me a telecaster for free. But, while I had it, it was great. With cheap guitars especially ordering online, you want to get the insurance because with guitars from China that are mass produced, your gonna get great builds mixed with duds. I happened to get a very good one, but like I said, there are human beings making these daily, and if they had a bad day, you may get bad running machines, poor wiring etc. So, in my opinion, buy a guitar in store where you can look at it. I've had friends by these monoprice guitars and have good luck as well. Also, great companies you should check out first though, Firefly which Amazon sells, and Harley Benton are great choices if you absolutely must buy online because of this pandemic.

Very good Guitar :)
This is a pretty good guitar for beginners or just any guitar player in general. My only complaint is that the truss rod needs to adjusted right out of the box, and also the frets are sharp! I tore up my hand by the second day of owning this. I recommend filing the frets yourself, I also recommend changing your strings, the strings this one comes with are very flimsy and sound horrible right out of the box (even when in tune and everything) I don't know what gauge string the manufactures put on, I believe it is 0.09 Gauge, so I suggest you change them to some Ernie Ball 0.10 Gauge strings like I did. With a bit of work, this guitar will feel a lot more comfortable and more fun to play. 6/10, very good guitar, has its problems but still very good nonetheless.

After doing a set up, the guitar really started to sound good. I did paint the guitar.
the neck had very bad fret sprout, so I removed the strings and sanded the fret sprout away and polished the frets and oiled the fret board, and after a few days of playing it with new strings, it really started sounding good. I had to adjust the truss rod and drop the bridge down, to get the action the way I like it. The pickups sound fine. I'm really started to like this guitar alot

Terrible quality for the money what can you expect
As a professional musician I have purchased lesser quality Instruments and you could play them straight out of the box but the fret work is awful and so is the intonation as far as the rest of the Instrument goes it seems to be what I expected which is fair ,I purchased EPIPHONES AND THEY PLAYED PERFECTLY out of the box other then tuning the instrument PG

Dissatisfied customer
Fit and finish of this guitar is horrendous. Fret sprout can saw down a tree binding on neck is lifting because sprout is so bad. Their is a thumb print under the clear coat and input jack plate isn't aligned properly
