This is the first time I've ordered FLAKED ALMONDS that have arrived uncrushed. They therefore made the perfect covering for my nephew's Hedgehog birthday cakes. Tasty, and crispy after toasted (darker colour for hedgehog priCkles) Perfect.

Was so impressed by the quality of the almonds. Far better than those at general health shops. Also price excellent. Will definitely buy again.

I forgot they weren't roasted and tried to make Almond butter, it was impossible, I roasted the Almond flour which was not easy but I didn't want to give up, when I put the roasted Almond flour back in the blender within 40 seconds I had wonderful Almond Butter. They'll be great for home made marzipan though.

I honestly thought I was buying a normal little bag of sliced almonds… until the parcel arrived and the bag was HUGE. This is a massive pack – it will last me for ages! Jokes aside, the quality is excellent. The flakes are thin, fresh and crunchy, not dusty or broken. They toast beautifully and look amazing on top of desserts. I’ve used them on puddings and cakes (see my photos) and they make everything look and taste like something from a bakery. If you bake a lot or like to decorate desserts, this is great value for money – just make sure you check the size, or you might also end up with almonds for the next few Christmases like I did! 😂

This is a good size pack however it is not finely ground enough if you are making macarons and there is some almond skin left in the product. I did manage to make macarons but they are lumpy and the macaronage stage is a strugglento get right when it's so lumpy. Next batch I will cook the flour slightly and then blend it myself to get it to be finer, which will hopefully help considerably. It tastes nice though so you could easily use it for a recipe where the fineness isn't that important.
