Had a protective case, the cover was in a separate plastic bag (inside box), once you remove the protective outer layer you have the bean bag filler which is the memory foam material others have shown. It comes in another protective outer layer which we chose to leave on even after putting the cover on. It immediately begins to inflate and rise or expand.Primary user is 300+ lbs and it holds up nicely. We got the 6ft version in teal suede. Absolutely beautiful and beyond comfortable. Seems very high quality for an excellent price.I am writing my review on day 1. I will update my review after I have the opportunity to fully evaluate this product. I am hoping it can withstand the weight of myself as well as my two vivacious children who love to jump on things.UPDATE: MAY 24, 2025Almost 2 months after having thisI CAN STILL ATTEST for 5 stars. Absolutely amazing product. We placed a king sized blanket under it between it & the floor, and immediately after getting it set up where we wanted, we placed a king sized blanket or comforter over the top to keep the cover in perfect condition. We regularly switch the blanket or comforter while the other is in the wash. Today is the first time we picked the bean bag up and I’m thrilled we did. We were cleaning and wanted to switch out the floor blanket. I had no complaints but the bean bag did sink in the middle from where it was sat in so much for so long and so often- but again I didn’t complain I thought it was fine. Today when we moved it, it obviously changed shape and now it’s like rejuvenated- I’m so thrilled and happy with my purchase, definitely recommending to all my friends and family and I did on day one as well!I will say it is a little difficult to get up out of but I mean hello it’s on the floor. Just a warning for anyone who has any sort of limitations.

Super comfy and nicely made.. love that the cover is machine washable.. foam support is good but has to be re-formed/reshaped regularly. I would suggest fluffing the sack after 1 or 2 uses. It is a large piece about the size of a large recliner type chair so it can sit somewhere there’s lots of space. Easy to unbox, add cover & fluff. Bit of a smell but dissipates quickly.

Very nice bean bag at a great price compared to Love Sac. It winds up being a bit smaller than advertised when fully fluffed, so if you are on the fence with size go up one. We have in our living room and the kids, adults, and dogs love it.

I really liked this bean-bag! There wasn't an unusual smell either. I never touched the floor by laying on it. Even though it was filled with foam, I still felt a bit low though. It could have been sent with an extra bag of foam. The foam gets a little pricey, in order to make it higher up to get on, due to me don't like being too low, I unzipped it and added soft pillows at the bottom of the actual ( inside) foam bag. Not inside of the actual foam bag. As you can see in pics it's much higher afterwards. Another thing I decided to do was to take the extra white zipped up foam bag, that the brick of foam was sent in, to not toss it away. There's already a stool shape to it, so I went ahead and stuffed that extra cover with a few blankets and sheets. Therefore, now I have an ultimate bean- bag without having to buy the extra priced one with the stool. I made my own stool. ( as you can see in pics ). Now, all I have to do is order a cover for it to match the bean bag. I also noticed that my fur babies took over the whole set, probably thought that I brought them an extra super, king sized doggie bed. I can't hardly get on it in peace, bc of my fur babies always are in my way. So, instead of them joining me, it seems the other way around. It's a really nice bean bag and I would suggest you buy it.It's very comfortable. Beanbag itself definitely deserves a 5 star rating , but I just want to keep an honest review due to beanbag needing more foam , in my personal opinion, or otherwise, do as I did and stuff it yourself. It's a little pricey, and so is extra foam if you need more. So, I'm going to go ahead and leave 4 stars. But buy it, you won't regret it!

Nostalgic and comfortable. Parents had a lovesack my brother and I would wrestle my dad on. Nothing like plopping down on one of these after a long workday 🫠

I recommend being really really certain that you really want this item and are ok with cheap, lumpy memory foamed filling as it is impossible to move this monstrosity around and figure out how to package for a return.I purchased the largest size, and it is very heavy and difficult to configure into a shape that will allow me to comfortably sit on it and reshape it after it becomes dented from any amount of sitting. I have broken many a nail trying to move it around... It takes up a rather large amount of space and at only 5 foot myself I can't imagine anyone on here with me or anyone bigger than me finding this comfortable. Which is ridiculous since it is quite large and very very heavy. The memory foam is not comfortable either, instead it is lumpy and not uniform. Considering the price of the item, I don't think it is worth getting at all! I wish I had never bought it...Also, it came in terrible packaging that was difficult to open as the package wrap was stuck in a zippered bag. The "velvet" cover I chose came without any packaging in the box (which was half open when it arrived).I am currently trying to figure out how I can possibly fit this item into a box to return via UPS. The seller is communicating via a bot it seems and is extremely unhelpful and not at all understanding.
