Sharp out of the box
Blade looks to be good quality. Honing is precise. 12.50 is a great deal. Just adding to my collection lol. Will be for general use. One review mentioned wood handle is weak and I tend to agree, I will not be pounding on it with a hammer.It is a full tang .

Great for flex and insulation.
We'll see how long it lasts but this thing came sharp and I've been having some clean cuts with flex duct and foil back insulation.

Good little blade
This is excatly as advertised. And no I am not being paid for this review I am just pleased with the blade, it is perfect for my needs. Both the plain and serrated edge cut through cardboard and plastic like nothing, and the edge seems to ratain sharpness ok, not too sure yet how it will sharpen up under a whetstone but pleased so far.This knife is very light with a balance point just about leveal with the first pin, the wood handle though is veyr comfortable in my hand and the midwest logo on only one side (looks like a snapped a pic of only the other side) but as a working tool for light construction tasks I suspect it will do just fine.One thing to note is the nylon sheath, it seems to have some kind of reinforcing inside it as noted 'ripstop' as a slightly stiffer nylon. This is probably good enough it is not going to rip open the sheath from normal use. The sheath itself is not tight enough to retain the knife if you turn it upside down however the velcro will hold the knife in place.All in all I am impressed with this as a light duty work tool, for the price of just over 20CAD it is excellent.

Great knife, well built.
Very happy with my purchase. Slight imperfections on the handle but nothing serious. Very aggressive blade design. Well sharpened. The jagged edges will rip through any material without a doubt. Full tang. Very comfortable and sturdy. Feels like an old school coffin handle Arkansas toothpick. Would make a great all around camp knife. If you are looking for a duct knife as a low cost alternative to a double edge dagger, this is it. The sheath is very basic. Will buy again.
