Great Buy
This was a great purchase. I needed more ports (had a 4 port) and this works great! It connects right to my keyboard and I can use many thumb drives at one time. Definitely recommend!

Does what it does
It does what it does well. Working fine so far. However, you wont be able to plug in multiple wireless dongle 2.4 receivers for your mice and keyboards, they wont work propertly. Signals cut off because of usb port interference.

Worked less than 4 months
I have owned this for less than 4 months. I often have to unplug things and plug them in again to get them to work. I can't get some ports to work at all, but so far I've been able to move things around to make it ok. Now that's not working either. I have stuff I need to get done but can't get this piece of junk USB hug to recognize anything. I bought Jan 2021 and just placed a new order for a different brand hub in May 2021. Don't waste your money.

A functional USB Hub
With mobile devices being stripped of ample ports the need for USB hubs is elevating. This offering from Rybozen is a good solution for most. What I like most about this product is:- Build quality; The aluminum construction with silver finish is a sleek and elegant look- The number and spacing of ports. I am glad Rybozen decided to space out 7 ports on this hub instead of squeezing in 8-10 with at least 2 of them being to closely spaced to be useful- Phone charging is solid- Data transfers are fast and backward compatible, if needed. What I did not like about this hub:- The iPad simply will not charge via this device. While I was able to connect my iPad to my computer for syncing charging was not a possibility- My Fire HD 10 charged but very slowly. I went from 1% to 8% in 20 minutes using this charger- The iPhone charges but not at optimum speeds; same with my Samsung DeviceOverall, I would recommend this item for data transfers and generally expanding connectivity. Charging seems to be a secondary function with this item as phones only charge at their minimum speeds and tablets either wouldn't charge or would barely do so. When traveling you have to carry singular devices that can perform multiple functions well. This one expands connectivity and data transfers well, however, you'll need something else for charging. I really wanted to love this product, but I ended up finding its usefulness limited. As such, I can only recommend this product for someone looking for fast transfers or expanding connectivity to other devices.

Saved from power cord hell
This makes a lot more sense to me, having so many ports. I only had two devices like these with only five USB ports each.I thought it was my computer that made the power coming out so slow to charge my phone and my other devices. I would plug my phone in and it wouldn’t give me that Sound telling me that there was a connection. I almost threw away one of my power cords. Then I realized it was happening with all of them. For a while before that I was so confused that I thought only one of the ports was the problem, so I avoided that one for a while. I am kind of techy but In this case I have no idea what I’m doing. My son is the electronics guy and he moved out long ago.Now I am getting a better sense of it since this new one with all of these ports is charging my devices quickly. There is no lag and I guess it wasn’t my computer either, causing the problem. So I just ordered this because it solves a problem in my office. It’s bad enough that I have so many devices charging at once. It is so much nicer to have the power cord coming out of one large device, then a few small ones. So there are many advantages to this device. I’m sorry I don’t know much about the specs. I am basing this review on my good experience with something that over a year ago I never even considered using. Once I started using these I found myself ordering more. My desk top looks like heck because, aside from my smaller devices, I have two large drawing tablets that have very long cords. One of these days I’m going to have to get something to reign in all these wires. It’s quite embarrassing. So it comes as a relief to me to see less clutter now. And, my drawing tablets are charging right up. There is no lag. I didn’t even realize what luck I would have. Enjoy

Great 7-port hub
The quality of this hub is very nice. It has a sleek, stylish look that looks great on my desk. It's very stable and the tilt makes it easy to plug and unplug cords from. The power cord isn't the thick braided kind, but it isn't as thin as some cords either. The power cord measures 4'6" and the included USB cord measures 3'6". The device supplies enough USB power to any devices you plug in without causing a draw of power from the PC. The transfer rate I'm getting is full USB 3.0 between the ports, just as advertised. This item isn't designed to charge your devices. It's specifically designed to supplement the power to any devices you have plugged into your PC during use. I have plugged many devices into this hub and used it with different OS (Windows 10 and Windows 7) and have had perfect results every time. I love it when products are just as they are described, and this one meets all my expectations.

Must plug into computer. Not gang it
Good quality. Easy to set up. MUST be plugged into computer usb slot in spite of having its own power supply. Tried to bridge from another "powered" 5 port and kept getting "not enough resources" error. Rearranged and works great.

Nothing but trouble with these USB hubs
Bought two of these and have had identical problems with both. I have a mid-2015 MacBook Pro running MacOS Catalina. Nothing but trouble using my Yeti microphone and Logitech webcam on Zoom, which thinks that I'm constantly losing connectivity. Have also had problems with a Samsung SDD external drive, which keeps disconnecting. Zero problems when these devices are plugged straight into the MacBook's USB ports. So the hub is essentially worthless except as a USB charger for portable devices. I wonder if others are having similar issues.
