PHR and SPHR Professional in Human Resources Certification Complete Practice Tests: 2018 Exams

I took and passed the PHR on the first attempt yesterday and I really felt that I enhanced my HR knowledge by using this practice test book. Like the study guide by the same author, it is very well laid out and close to the real test questions. The foundation of the HR knowledge is very dry and these tests focus your retention on the specific sections of HR practices. I used 3 different practice test books and this was by far the best. This book had the most questions and I appreciated the explanation of why the correct answer was correct and the incorrect answered were wrong. If you are taking the PHR/SPHR, I highly recommend this practice exam question book. I am very serious... This book is a must.

This is a great supplemental guide to your PHR studies. I passed the test on 8/16 and used the following materials to supplement this guide:- PHR Deluxe Study Guide, Sandra Reed - Read this several times- PHR Pocket Prep App- PHR Review Guide, James Galluzzo - Really only used this for the questions- 500 Practice Test Questions, Olamide AkesunOf all the practice questions I took, these were the most similar to the test itself. Most of the questions challenge you and help reinforce the material. I highly recommend this book.

I bought this book 3 days before my PHR exam and managed to finish this before I took my test..I passed it:) the questions were of very good standard esp the full length PHR test. Among all the materials (esp question banks) I used for prep, I found this one to b most similar to the actual test. Go for it!PHR requires solid preparation and thorough knowledge of everything in the syllabus. I gave myself 3 months giving at least 2-3 hrs/day. This book was an icing on the cake.

Despite the markings on the test pages, I was very happy to score a deal on this used. Great resource as explanations are provided with the correct answers, as well as key differences between multiple choice items. Recommend

Really like using this book in preparation for the exam. Even though it is based on older exams, it is still incredibly helpful to understand the types of questions that come up and the wording. It's surprisingly how many I get wrong when practicing, but the book does a great job of explaining the answers. Highly recommend using this in collaboration with the Test Preps Books PHR Study Guide 2020-2021.

I purchased this 2 weeks before I took the PHR and I’m glad I did. I passed on my first try. Every question has an explanation why the correct answer was right and why the others were not. They really helped me learn how to analyze the question and answers.

Taking practice tests was hands-down the key to my passing the SPHR, and this book was really effective in providing practice. The questions were worded in ways that made you truly think about the context behind them, which was really helpful for the test format.

This Study Guide is a Must have. It's relevant and up to date with current Human Resources issues. I used it for 2 months and half passed the PHR exam.
