Pack of Two White Goose Feather Pillows with 100% Cotton Fabric - 48 x 74cm, Medium Firm

As per the pictures my pillows are looking a little, deflated! And discolored. I havent replaced these for several years, we were buying new bedding so thought i would pick up some new pillows, this pair are a little more than i expected to pay, however the reviews are good so i thought i would try them out.The Good- The packaging, what fun! They come vacuumed packed so super flat, i did wonder if i had the wrong set or something was wrong, there wasnt a chance they could fluff up to my expectations. Its a bit like unwrapping a pop up tent, but more satisfying. A few plumps, drop them a couple of times then leave for 45 minutes and off to sleep you go.- I sleep on my side, i have a large head, it is heavy, it destroys pillows, slowly crushing the life out of them as per the picture. For the last three nights i have only used one of my new pillows such is the size and level of comfort. They are super pumped and very supportive but not overly so. I picked up medium firm.- There has been no odious smell to speak of as some feather pillows can give a whiff of. I bury my not inconsiderable head and all i get back is fresh cotton. There are no leaking sharp feathers, another aspect of previously buying cheap pillows i just accepted as the norm. Potentially this may happen in the future of course but the build quality seems first class, well stitched and fully sealed.- I am someone forever in search of the cold side of the pillow, its really one of the main reasons i have always had feather pillows, synthetic ones just overheat me, i sweat into them, i toss and turn, then i am disposed of off to the spare bedroom or covertly elbowed in the face sometimes. Rather sadly one of the things i ask for whenever i have to stay in a hotel is a feather pillow. I just cant cope with the heat retention in synthetic pillows.These pillows are super cool, as said i have been using just one, and we have had a couple of pretty warm nights, not peak summer stinkers but warm none the less. It just stays cool, i stay cool, everyone is happy, maybe a couple of flips in the night.The not so good- Its not something i would mark down on but they are super super thick, i normally update reviews after a few months of use on products so ill do so on these. I would think a few weeks of supporting my boulder sized head will have an impact on this.Overall although its only been a few nights of testing i am extremely pleased i did invest a little more, when you consider how much time is spent alseep and the importance of good sleep then its just a false economy buying rubbish. Look after your head, your neck and your sleep hygiene, buy some good pillows!Five Stars.

Are you fussy about your pillows..? Something that we rely on for comfort and support; we spend about one third of our lives lying on one (or 2). Why not invest in a quality product and treat yourself (and your partner) to these beautiful pillows. The materials used are of very high grade and the pillows offer just the right combination of firmness and comfort. You may hesitate in spending a little more than you budgeted for, I did too, but I'm so glad I did. This is a really good example of "you get what you pay for", as in my 58 years, have tried many diferent pillows and these are the best so far! I guarantee that you will not regret this purchase...I don't often give product endorsements like this, but in this case, I have no hesitation. This is a really tough one - there's a reason these are either "love it or hate it". I chose "medium firm" as I do like some luxurious softness to my pillows but not so much where they're just full of air. For that reason, I normally gravitate towards goose feather/cotton pillows, where I decided to try these out as a new brand. They arrive flat-placked with little instructions. You have to air them off for about an hour before using them - I'd highly recommend actually doing this and not skipping it.Firstly, mine hold their shape very well. It definitely doesn't fold in half resting on your hand in midair, like some have described below. It's very good for holding its shape and "plumping back up" itself, you only have to shake them back down every week or so. But honestly, I've used some cheaper (sub £15 for a pair) pillows which are actually more comfortable than these are but obviously, only last a few months total. Buying these, you're setting yourself up for the longer-term.Second, I've found the main problem to be there's just not enough "filler" inside of them so after using them for a couple hours, it just ends up feeling weirdly rocky. It's really not comfortable at the start and takes some getting used to and for this price point, that just shouldn't be happening. I think if I bought the "Firm" version, it would have had more filler which might have alleviated this issue.I've stuck with these pillows for 5 months and I'm very comfortable with them now - I really do think they needed to be "broken into" a little. Should that be happening at this price point? Probably not, but I'm fine with them. Very lovely pillows, although they make a loud crinkly sound it soon fades with use. I purchased more for my mother and even for my baby son for when he is old enough for a pillow! I highly recommend. Perfect for asthma sufferers, I used to believe feather pillows would be bad for asthma or allergies but since having these pillows my asthma has improved and my quality of sleep has also improved no more waking in the night for my inhaler.

A great product made of premium material. The goose feather filling is firm for back support yet adjusts perfectly to the shape of your head/shoulders. The outer surface is made of premium cotton that feels gentle against the skin. Outstanding value for the price. 100% recommended!

No dislikes

I really wanted to like this. it was the exact pillow size i needed and also down which is not so easy to find in this combination. I guess it's a personal preference but this pillow wasn't for me. While it fills up nicely after following the instructions, as soon as there is weight on it, there is no support for my head or shoulders. Unfortunately, i've not had the best nights sleep due to these pillows. The are completely flat when sleeping, but seem to retain the shape well when not in use as it puffs back up. Unfortunately, this has to go back :(
