The Burlap, Chalk & Linen Framed Wall Organizer with Knobs features a rectangular wood frame with weathered details that give it a rustic, shabby chic feel. The board itself is sturdy, has a casual vintage inspired look, and can be mounted on any wall, but it is the combination of unique details that make it a truly special piece. This wall organizer features two rows of three small square panels on which to write, tack, and hang messages, notes, to-do lists, and reminders. The top three squares are chalkboard panels that can written on and erased over and over again. The center bottom square is covered in heavy, natural burlap fabric and can be used to tack or pin important papers and photos to the board. Two of the bottom squares are covered with natural linen fabric and can also be used as mini pin boards to hold lists and reminders. In your office, this piece offers incredible organization because the six different squares allow you to organize items within the organizer. Use the chalkboard squares to write shopping lists and keep track of phone calls you need to make or emails you need to send, use the burlap square to tack up invitations or meaningful note cards, and let the linen squares function as a place to display photos or small mementos from recent events. Beautiful
The product is as described. Although the four corners having those corner black pieces is only a cardboard shipping piece, and not chalkboard as it appears. these should have been removed for photography of this item. Also, the sticker on the top center piece is easily removable, this should have been stated in description. Using real chalk is a little difficult but does work and cleans up nicely. but using a liquid chalk pen leaves the words faintly behind even after scrubbing. I was grateful it didn't arrive broken, as the packing was one loose piece of bubble wrap that didn't even fill the box it was sent in, so there was room for movement.The item is beautiful, mounted easily and is sturdy enough to write on while mounted without it moving. I used anchors and screws.I love it and it is exactly what I wanted.can someone suggest a cleaner to restore after the chalk pen is erased, so the words don't show. thanks.

very disappointed
item not packaged well for delivery, received with top chalkboard broken off of frame. corner pieces shown in pic are not part of item but packaging corners. sticker on chalkboard left a permanent mark after peeling off, normal length push pins do not push the whole way into linen or burlap because padding is not thick enough & pin hits particle board on back. this was purchased as a gift but I kept it for myself because of the poor quality. I did not feel like going through the hassle of repackaging and returning so I removed all the staples from the chalk (particle) board & glued it to the frame. I was afraid to use my staple gun because I didn't want to split the flimsy wood frame. it will be more of a decoration piece rather than a functional piece after I gave it some tlc...def not worth $129!!!

Super cute, but could be more functional
I love the look of this chalk/bulletin board. I am using it a decorative/functional piece in my work office. I was disappointed though - the burlap/linen covered squares are not optimal bulletin boards. That is, a push pin or decorative thumb tack won't go in fully. They stick out. Might be better with straight pins at an angle. Overall I really enjoy the look, just disappointed in a bit of the functionality. The black corners in the photo are part of the packaging.

its a great piece but very cheaply made and I'm 2/2 with ...
update 3/3. i ordered a 3rd and that too was so poorly made that i sent that back instead of the second one. im now living with one that is scratched and has a crooked knob because it's the best of the 3 i ordered. way overpriced for the quality. original review: its a great piece but very cheaply made and I'm 2/2 with damage. (scratches, big dents and knobs were missing or installed at an angle) I've had to send two back. I'm giving it one more try because it's a perfect addition to my office, but if the last one is damaged I'm afraid I'll have to give up. not worth $50.

Very cheap looking and fell apart as soon as I tried putting it up. The back "Chalkboard" is but black paper. It is fragile. I bought it for my office but it is useless. Its more decorative than useful for notes. Not at all what I was looking for.

Good looking piece but poorly assembled
This could have been such a nice piece & fit perfectly in our kitchen until we received it & removed it from the box. When I first opened the box both hanging knobs immediately fell out, no big deal they easily screw back in. When I removed it from the box there were a lot of scratches & dents in the wood & not just normal "wood weathering" for a rustic look. The worst part was that the chalk board part was hardly attached & seemed like it was on a hinge when I flipped it over to look I noticed that nearly all of the staples had either missed their mark or ripped through the chalk board. I couldn't turn this into a serviceable piece or justify the $50 we paid for it. We returned it the next day.

Very nice
I bought this for what we call a learning board at work.... It is great. The packing was good and had no problems as others posted, Looks very nice thinking about getting one for my home.

Wonderful addition to any room.
Love it! I bought this to help me stage my house for sale. Durable but light enough to easily hang on any wall. Beautiful. Exactly what I ordered.
