Higonokami Pocket Folding Knife, Titanium Handle, Japanese Style Top Flipper, D2 Steel Tanto Blade, Includes Sheath (Kyoko Blue Steel)

So far this is a very nice knife. It has a decent weight, but isn't heavy. Seems to be well balanced, came reasonably sharp, and looks good too. The only thing I would say as a negative (which isn't really negative, just different) is the way it opens is not what I am used to. Normally, I have a tab to flip with my finger on the opposite side of where the blade comes out or a thumb peg to swivel the blade out with. This one has a tab kind of on it's top and you have to hold the knife completely differently to one handed open it. I can't really say that it is a bad thing, just awkward at first, but once I figured out the motion it isn't a problem.

The sheath is a joke. The knife is very serious! This blade is a thick rigid beast with a razor-sharp tanto tipped beveled badass. The fit is perfect, it clicks into place with a tactile and an audible click. There is no slop or play in the blade when deployed. The scales are genuine titanium, the knife would be slightly heavy without them being titanium (55% the weight of steel). I really like this knife. It is worth every cent. It is a gentleman's folding fighter, perfectly designed for a very specific purpose. Sublime metallurgy!

This knife is very sharp but if you look at the way it is opened, it would work better for someone who is left handed. I find it not as fluid to open with right hand

Great knife and easily opened one handed if you take a minute and look at the knife and think about how to go about it, when you're holding the knife instead of trying to use the front of your finger to open it you have to use the side of your finger and it is best if you do it above the first knuckle toward your fingernail so as the knife opens you easily move your finger out of the way of the opening blade

Great knife. I love the look which is why I bought it. I chose the blue steel and it looks great. Very sharp blade out of box. The flip open is a little awkward but doesn't change anything for me, I'm still a fan.

I was very suprised with the quality and sharpness of this knife. The blade is very very sharp, the tip slices anything you poke it with, the metal is tough, my favorite part is the tango style blade made beautifully.

Shaving sharp right out of the box. Lightweight but not in a bad way. If your not used to the top way of opening it you could get used to it easily.

Had the knife for a while never used it until today noticed that it doesn’t close all the way very dangerous.
