Finally a true purple LED bulb!
I have been looking for a "bluer" purple c7 bulb for a long time. Typically, purple bulbs are too magenta for my tastes and end up looking almost pink from a distance. The brightness on these is pretty decent for a little LED bulb and I don't have to worry about them getting hot. I am very happy with them. I will be using these in all of my Halloween decorations and probably Christmas strands too.

Great looking bulbs that will truly last a long time.
I really like these bulbs. I bought them to use as Christmas lights. I switched to LED several years go thinking LED strands would use less energy and they would last much longer. I was wrong about the second point. I made a rookie mistake and bought mini-lights which have the crappy sockets that often corrode or just break. Much, if not all, of the strand goes down when there is a socket problem, despite the misleading claim that if one bulb goes out, the strand stays lit. They never mention what happens when a socket fails - half the stand goes down. If you want to fix it, you will spend lots of time finding the faulty socket. So this year, I bought some used C7 and C9 strands with the E12 and E17 sockets respectively. As a side note, avoid buying C7 and C9 stands at the store with LED - none of them have the E12 or E17 sockets - they were all mini-light sockets with plastic covers. At a store, you will have to buy the incandescent C7/C9 strands if you want the good sockets. Another option is to buy the strands online with E12/E17 sockets without bulbs. I got my strands off craigslist.Anyway, I bought these replacement bulbs to try out in some of my E12 strands. I think they look great. Now I have Christmas light stands that:--use much less energy--the bulbs are not glass so they do not shatter easily like their C7 incandescent counterparts--the sockets are durable so I do not anticipate many if any failures--the LED bulb should last many years--if one bulb or socket fails, the strand will truly still work so no more time intensive troubleshooting looking for the bad socket/bulb. It is obvious where the point of failure is.--Look GreatThe only down side is expense. These bulbs are obviously more expensive than the crappy ones at the stores but if your time is valuable to you (as I consider mine) and you consider you won't be fixing strands or going out to buy new strands every year, these will pay for themselves after 5-10 years.I think it is not coincidence that the local stores do not sell Christmas lights in this configuration - if they did, we would not have to buy new ones every year!

Solid C7 Replacement for your Christmas Lights
I bought 6 sets of these multi-color LED lights to replace my incandescent C7 Christmas lights.- No dead bulbs out of the 150 I purchased.- They stay cool and do not dry out the tree faster.- Made from plastic so they're less likely to break- I actually find them to be brighter than the incandescent C7s I replaced. Individually, they may not seem brighter- but string five sets together and they shine. The only con I can see is the price. You can get 25 C7 LED lights on the string for less than 25 bucks if you shop around. I wanted to reuse my old strings instead of tossing 'em all out.

Wonderful for window candles
I love these bulbs and am happy to finally have found good replacements for the fragile incandescent bulbls that break if they tip over or burn out by the end of the season. Other LED candle bulbs I've tried have been too cold or blue in color on one hand, or too amber on the other, but these ones are very close to the warm, golden color of the 4 watt, clear, incandescent night light bulbs we'd been using. I also like that the faceted bulb gives a more candle-like effect than the frosted or clear bulbs. I was concerned they'd be too dim as other reviewers have mentioned, but I think they're just right for window candles as they can be seen well from the street and glow softly within the rooms they're in. And I know they will last for years as we have been using LED string lights outside for years and they just keep going. All in all, I'm thrilled.

Outstanding deal!
I ordered these pink bulbs because I used to buy the GE pink bulbs but now they are hard to find and the price on Amazon is prohibitive. I really like the effect of pink bulbs so I thought I'd give these a try since the price is so good. They arrived in a plain plastic zip bag inside a paper envelope. I thought for sure some would have been damaged in shipping since there was no padding at all. So I tested every one. Guess what? They all worked! Very happy - yeah pink bulbs!!!

Nice Green
These were plenty bright for my purposes. I’ll be adding a few more strings to outline more of the house next year. I love that the “bulb” is plastic, no worries about them clanking against each other and breaking. A side benefit is the strings are so much lighter than with incandescent, making them easier to hang.

TEAL is very bright. Not great for close range viewing.
These teal colored bulbs are comparable to the white LED light bulbs if viewed at close range. They are so bright that they are blinding. They don't look very medium-dark teal when lit. Very pale teal and very very bright. One could them for nite lights instead of on the Christmas tree. They also appear to look more teal if viewed from a distance, meaning if you use them for outdoor display. I put them in my old fashion electric candles, in my windows, for the holiday season. But on my tree they were too hard to look directly at.

Not a good match for incandescent bulbs, but a great solution if you want to save energy
These bulbs are bright, energy efficient, durable and well made. The problem for me is that the color temperature is much whiter than incandescent bulbs. And, like most LED lamps, they flicker. I bought these for window candles and they just don't look right in this application. But, they would be a great energy saving replacement for a string of old lights. They would also be great for night lights. The brightness is about the same as a 7W incandescent. Color is much whiter.

They do not get hot.
In spite of their brightness they do not hot, barely warm.
