Best Selling Mansfield Leather Espresso Tray Top Storage Ottoman

I've been looking for a storage ottoman for my sectional sofa for a while now (I try not to buy sets, like to mix it up). I found this on Amazon and it was at a price I couldn't refuse. I didn't expect too much, but I was happily surprised. The size is perfect for my living room, goes well with my sofa, and provided the extra storage I needed. It's also the same height as the sofa seat, so it feels like the ottoman was made for it. The material is very nice, no scratches or scuffs, and is a very rich, dark brown. The only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the feet need to be screwed in and have a plastic washer for "stability". But the screws are built in to the footers and 1 of the 4 did not want to screw in as well as the others with the "beveled edge inward" as the directions indicated (the directions are a hoot, by the way). I would still buy this ottoman again though. One happy customer.

This ottoman sits in the middle of my tv room, surrounded on three sides by couches. My wife and I like to store extra blankets and pillows inside the fairly roomy interior. When the top is flipped over,either, or both, we have a great place to set any number of things including food, laptops, drinks, etc. Putting your feet up on it with the padded sides up makes a lot of sense. Using it as additional seating for adults might not be utilizing the ottoman wisely. The construction of this ottoman is durable, not indestructible. This is the fourth storage ottoman I have purchased from Amazon, with the same construction as this one. One is round, and two others are about 1/4 the size of this one. The side walls are sufficiently strong for a normal sized person to sit on but not rough house or bounce roughly on it. While the fabric is vinyl it looks and feels very comfortable. In extremely cold locations, the cold might cause problems as it does even with steel. Pay attention to the correct location when you screw in the feet. They have a correct location or not so much. This ottoman arrived on the date Amazon said it would and was well boxed, showing no visible signs of damage. On opening the ottoman was perfect in every way. We use this ottoman almost every night in our tv room. It is great as a table to play cards on.

I have to give this one 5 stars. I spent two days looking at similar storage ottomans and decided that this was the smartest purchase. Unlike others, there were no reviews of strange odors upon unpacking, and it was packaged quite well so there was no shipping damage as I had seen mentioned in the reviews of other ottomans. Craftsmanship appears to be top notch even though it is one of, if not the least inexpensive ottoman of this size. I've looked it over quite thoroughly and I can't see a flaw. As others have mentioned it is dark, almost black in some lighting situations but I feel it is on par with other "espresso" colored furniture in my house so I was not surprised with this. I use daylight balanced incandescent lighting in my house and when all of the lights in my living room are turned on it is rather bright which allows the true espresso color to show.I also like that it has two, large rectangular interior storage compartments rather than 4 square ones, and that the sides are solid rather than an upholstered over wooden frame like I had seen mentioned in other similar ottoman reviews.All in all I'm really satisfied with my purchase. I feel like I got a quality item for not a lot of money. If this thing falls apart over time I will update my review accordingly but as of now I'm really happy with it.

Very lightweight. Overall it's aesthetically pleasing and reasonably functional. The trays were significantly smaller than I expected, but I could live with that. The real issue is that, in order to get the legs facing the right direction, they end up loose. That means you frequently have to go readjust them as they're forever turning. Despite that, it's still quite sturdy though.

I purchased this ottoman to go with our sectional sofa. It is the perfect size for our living room.I found it to be well constructed and sturdy. With the padded portion turned up, it makes a perfect place to put your feet up, and when you need a table to store items, you simply turn the top portion(s) over. Someone was thinking about the design when putting this together, because the top sections have hand holds for lifting and carrying them. The ottoman was exactly what I was expecting and I'm very pleased with it. It seems to be well constructed and can double as a seat for two if needed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because when you flip the top over, it's a tight fit and may tilt a little, so whatever you place on the tray could spill if you're not careful. All in all, it was well worth the money.

It is perfect for what we want but it did come damaged and arrived later than expected. The company was very responsive to the issues and we resolved it. Seems to be well made as it is sturdy enough to sit and and so far it is holding up to a toddler for about 6 months so far. The color is darker than expected.
