There's nothing else like it
First of all, I'm a real person and not a paid or fake reviewer. With that said, this gaming kit is TREMENDOUS. I play a lot of games with my daughter, and figured out that with a few adapters, we could play our Nintendo Wii-U in the car. But not Xbox or PS4. So we took a chance and got this GAEMS kit. This changed everything. Not only can we play on the go, but the display has no lag, crisp visuals, and comes in a cool little hardened briefcase enclosure. Which is perfect, because it's sealed up pretty good, might even be spill-or-rain resistant (not that I ever want to find out). This wouldn't be possible if the power cord came out of the outside (like the other reviewer said). The speakers aren't good, but they're not bad, either. They're exactly, acceptable. Useable for when you game with others, but you'll wanna use headphones for solo play. Which is OK to me, because good speakers use strong magnets, and magnets are HEAVY. So anything better than "decent" sound would make it tough to carry around. I have a 4k TV, but usually game on it in 1080p, because that way my Xbox 1x and PS4 Pro can push out 60 frames per second (on 4k usually they output around 30 fps). So since I'm used to HD resolution anyway (1080p), this display wasn't a step down. It was, surprisingly, an UPGRADE- because with all those pixels stuffed into 17 inch, it looks fantastic. It has no lag or ghosting at all, so that might be better than some full-size TVs, too. I don't normally write reviews. Click and see. I wrote this one because I feel grateful. This kit in my opinion, is worth *more* than what I paid here on Amazon. Well, now we're square!

Awesome product for my needs!
My wife and I are both moderate PS4 gamers. After our daughter was born, our solution of her using the living room tv and me using a computer monitor on the coffee table was no longer practical. At that point, I moved my monitor to a separate bedroom and would mainly surf the web on an iPad while my wife would play on the living room tv. Since our daughter has grown up a bit now, I wanted to get into gaming a bit more, but I knew that the monitor on a coffee table still wasn't a good solution. Enter GAEMS. I found the Sentinel as an alternative to getting a $2000 gaming laptop. This unit is great because I can play my PS4 on the couch with my wife at the same time! So far, we've on played Fallout 76. This screen is 17", but it doesn't sacrifice quality. The image is very crisp and clear. The built in speakers are loud, I tend to keep them about 10-20 out of 100. The design of the case is very sleek. It's made of a hard plastic. The only thing that's a bit of a pain is trying to reinstall the HDMI cable to the PS4 without loosening one of the straps that keep the PS4 secure if I need to pack up the Sentinel to move it. Speaking of which: no, you cannot leave the HDMI cable connected and shut the case. That can cause damage to the system. They do provide you with a bag to keep the remote controller, monitor power cord, hdmi cable, and video game power cord. There is a 24" monitor coming out by summer from GAEMS, but that will be marketed to the professional gamer who is looking to stream as well. All in all, I am very happy with this!

Good Product Just A Couple Of Issues With It
So I just bought this a couple of days ago and I would say this product exceeded most of my expectations, not all of it but most of it. So here are my pros.. It's a portable TV, so just in case your on the go or in a airport and have to wait a long time for a flight or something, then this is for you The TV part is very high quality, I thought it was going to be above average as 720p but it's actually 1080p which is super nice The case is very sturdy it isn't cheaply made, the case is very thick and compact There's velcro! I like they put in Velcro to secure your system that you have so that it just doesn't move around too much while your playing. You can actually adjust the TV settings to your liking, when I bought this I thought it was "Once you get it, you can't alter the settings product" but I was wrong you can alter it,by hand or remote but more preferably remote. Now for the cons which some might be nitpicks but regardless still here are my cons The first one, How you have to have all these cords and that's the : Power cord that comes with it, the little HDMI cable and the cord to the Xbox or Playstation console. I feel like they could've taken one cord out like the main power cord and just make the thing chargeable but that wouldn't make sense but still, I wish they gave us more space. The case, it's sturdy as I said in my pro about it but the way to open it is kind of weird in my opinion. Every time I see a YouTuber or a reviewer open it, they can open both latches with ease, but with me, I have to open the thing one side at a time. I wish they made the lock mechanism where you heard a click on when it's unlocked and locked. The remote, it's nice to have a remote with this in theory, but the main gripe I have with the remote is that it didn't come with a battery. Why do I have to pay almost 300 dollars and for the remote for this thing to not come with the battery? I feel like that's just ridiculous. There's a delay with my controller when I play games, usually I like playing fighting, shooting, or RPG. But when I play fighting games it seems like the input is slow, not as in sluggish slow, but like I input a command and it'll come out 2 to 3 seconds later. I don't know if that's a me thing but I just had to bring it up. While the case is nice, it's not bag friendly as in you can't put in a bag or backpack for easy carrying. The thing is short enough to fit but I feel like it's a little bit too wide, I felt like if they wanted to make a portable TV for gaming, I feel like they should take into consideration that people don't want to carry this by hand and probably want to carry this by a backpack. The case may be sturdy but can it handle heat? I feel like if you're a heavy gamer and you play for more than 1 hour, I feel like this case would eventually absorb the heat and then start warping because of it. That's all I have to say about it, it's not a 5/5 product but it does have alot of neat convenient stuff all be it with a couple small cons, I think it's worth your money

Absolutely worth the money
In reading the reviews, it feels like some folks were expecting something on the level of the GAEMS Guardian Pro for less than half the price ($279.99 vs. $599.99 at the time I purchased it). Make no mistake, this is a very good portable gaming solution. The case itself is solid, and the straps allow a console (in my case a PS4) to stay it it snugly both during travel and when it's in use. The monitor looks great, both in terms of colors and blacks. The speakers are fine, but if you're looking for audiophile-level sound you shouldn't be relying on built-in speakers anyway. It's heavy, but there's not really any way around that if you want protection. There isn't a lot of wasted space on the interior, which helps keep the case as small and portable as it can be. In terms of portability, it's about as portable as the old "Macintosh Portable." Technically true, but it's more "draggable" than something you're going to happily tote around with you. It includes everything you need - power adapter, a short HDMI cable, and an accessories bag. You might want to pick up a few extras, like an extra power cable for whichever console you have and a longer HDMI cable in case you're traveling with it and you want to hook it up to a regular TV. Can you get a better portable gaming system? Yes. But don't expect to get it for the price of this unit, and this one, in my opinion, should be a great solution for the vast majority of people.

Compact and light weight
I love this system. I have had it about a month, My kids and I are always fighting over use of the system. We recently purchased the XBOX 1S All Digital system to use with the system (I highly recommend you consider the XBOX 1 All Digital (around $140.00) to use with this gaming monitor). This keeps us from having to travel with a bunch of game discs. Combine this with the GAEMS Sentinel Pro and you have a compact and lightweight system with great graphics and a pretty decent sound system. The only draw back is the system doesn't come with a screen protectors so when you close the Sentinel Pro be sure you haven't left something on top of your gaming console that may damage the screen. I built my own screen protector by cutting out a thin square of foam and attaching Velcro strip on each corner of the form square. When were done using the system we just stick the form cover over the screen for protection when we close the gaming system. Additionally, it would have been nice if they had built an access port on the side of the system to allow you to run your cables out of the system. This would allow you to close the console when not in use. All in all it is a great gaming monitor.

Bought it for my truck driver husband
When I asked my husband how to rate this, he said, "Give that m*****f***** a 5!" He really loves it. As an over the road truck driver, this gives him an easy way to safely transport and use his X-Box. No more hassles with where to store it, how to secure it, and taking up precious room with a television. He said if had any complaint it is that the volume is a little low, but by pairing it with his headset, it hasn't slowed him down. Thanks for a great product!

lived up to my expectations
I travel for work five days a week so this gets a lot of use. So far it has lived up to everything I expected from it with one of the obvious low points being the speakers which are easily overcome with headphones. When I first got the product I was under the impression, like some others in here, that the screen wasn't big enough bit as soon as I started really using the product those fears evaporated. Your usually close enough that once you start immersing into what ever your playing you realise that the screen is fine. Even with a FPS that I was sniping small targets in I was able to see everything clearly and had no problems. If you can afford it (thank goodness for tax season) it is definitely worth it, especially if you travel

Do not buy the Sential unit it’s terrible. Read my review before you buy!!!
Warning complete waste of money Do Not Buy this product. Read my review to understand why I say this. With that said let me explain I’ve been waiting for this to be released for over 4 months I even preordered this product I was so excited finally in all in one gaming unit I can take with me on the road but to my surprise this unit was not at all what the hype was. After testing it out for 7 days here is my review of the unit. The box is very cheap it holds your Playstation not tight in it no matter how much you Pull on that cheap strap and the padding cut out it lays in is to short so the Playstation sits on a inclined lip other wise you will put stress on the hdmi cable in the back. Also they claim this is suppose to me compact with a smaller foot print I disagree completely this thing is huge like takes up 30% of the queen size bed or 60% of the table and it’s heavy probably way with Playstation 20 lbs it’s just not at all as described. The screen is horrible I mean this in the nicest way but they call that and IPS panel that has to be the ugliest color representation ever produced because I have Asus IPS gaming panel and it looks 5x better for a quarter of the price. Next there is absolutely no storage what so ever to even put a cord without scratching the panel up and the bag provided is way to small it’s very well built bag unlike the actual carrying case but the bag will fit 1 controller and 1 power cord that’s it literally poor engineering on gaems. Next the speakers are terrible I had them maxed out 100% and couldn’t ever hear foot steps barely could here my friends all in all there as muffled as the speakers in a $20 tracphone. Let’s talk about the case does it have a cool plastic design yes it’s like honey comb look which is cool but that’s where it ends the patches are very hard to open and you have to get very creative with using both hands to open latches while trying to pry the weightless bottom down just again goes back to poor engineering design. Let’s talk customer support it’s non existent I called and left messages 5 times no one ever called me back to help me with this product which you would think for $400 that be eager to help you of course not there all about taking your money in exchange for a terrible product. Let’s talk price it’s beyond over priced you can buy an Asus 24” IPS panel 1080p with nice speakers built in and bezzless for $120 brand new and purchase a playstion 4 carring case that will hold your console, cords, controllers, games and headphones and never have to remove the console from the bag for $30 brand new all on amazon total $150 compared to sentinel nearly $400 price tag and you’ll still need to buy another bag to carry your controller games and headphones in.
