Just as cushiony as I hoped
I needed something with a little cushion. It's not the most comfortable zero gravity chair, the lumbar support is a little off for me. But the cushions are soft enough that I think it will work just fine. It is a little stiff to push back, but it's brand new, and it wasn't a problem for me...I'm short and a size 3. It seems very sturdy and I'm happy with my purchase.

Chair review
Comfortable chair but a little short for a 6 foot tall male

Simply the Best
After reading lots of reviews here on Amazon I have to admit I was skeptical but went ahead and purchased anyway. The chair is undoubtably the best I have ever owned. The only nitpick, as others have expressed, is the lack of a cup holder, other than that, it's perfect.Lots of negative reviews I read concerned the lack of a true locking mechanism for holding the chair in a certain position. It does not, have that ratchet mechanism that in my opinion is a pain to use, instead it has a mechanism to increase or decrease the friction on the slide bar. I have not yet found it necessary to use it as the chair is so well engineered that it holds me in any recline position. I'm 5'10" and weigh 165 lbs. and it works perfectly for me but I can't say for sure it would preform the same for all shapes and sizes. A friend of mine (5' 11" 230lbs} tried it out briefly and I didn't see any indication of him struggling to hold it in position. It's very comfortable and I would say that anyone who has back issues (like me} would find this chair a welcome addition. The only other complaint I have is that when my wife sat in the chair she didn't want to get out of it. So it ended up costing me another $259 to get one for her! But hey, it's cheaper than a divorce, right?Buy the chair, you won't be sorry.

Back gives out
I have purchased several LaFuma chairs to do Reflexology, as this chair brings the feet up higher than most other zero-gravity chairs. It is also rumored that these chairs are well-built, and I need them to be sturdy for clients. With my last LaFuma, the back suddenly gave out while a client was sitting in it, after having the chair for several years, so I purchased this updated, padded version of the LaFuma chairs for over $300 with tax, and after a year & a half, the back of the chair suddenly gave out while a customer was in it. Because of Covid, I was not taking many clients at all, so this chair had very, very little use in the time I had it. For $300, I definitely did not get the value out of the chair. I see other zero-gravity chairs for a third of the price, but fear they may not bring the feet up high enough for my needs, but I would be tempted to buy those if it was just for my own use. I can say that I have had the Lafuma chairs with webbed material, canvas material, and the newer padded versions, as well as laced-up material attachments and the clip-version of attachments. If you were in the chair for a very long time, you might prefer the cushioned version, but all have been very comfortable, and I have clients that come in stating that they've heard about my chair & the comfort of it. Zero-gravity chairs are nice, but I definitely did not get my $300 worth of value out of this one. They state there is a 5-year warranty in the description on Amazon, but when you try to get information on that, they say to talk to the seller; and when you go to the seller, they say they may only recently have started selling it, and you have to go to the manufacturer. I am on hour 3 of trying to get any assistance on the warranty, and after 45 minutes of being put on hold by Amazon Customer Service, to see if the warranty will cover any of it. I am currently submitting on-line emails to the manufacturer. Meanwhile, I need a chair immediately for my clients, and will have to purchase something, as I find support of the products is very tedious, and very likely non-existent.Because LaFuma touts the durability of the chairs, I am disappointed in my purchase.

Comfortable and a back saver
If your back is bothering you, this helps! I’m no doctor, but it’s a very practical lawn chair!

Solid, comfortable and well made but has a few issues
The good: this chair is solid and clearly very well-made. It glides smoothly and feels like it will hold up for a long time. It looks great, too! The pillow slides up and down so you can use it for head or lumbar support. The not so good: I’m 5’11 and my husband is 6’1, and this chair is too short for us. Our feet have to rest on or over the bar at the bottom, which is uncomfortable unless you’re wearing shoes (and who wants to wear shoes in an anti gravity chair in their backyard?). However, you can just put a pillow down there and it’s fine. Also, I have sciatica due to herniated lumbar discs, so was super excited to read other back pain sufferers’ reviews saying this was comfortable for them. Unfortunately for me, it doesn’t recline enough to take the pressure off my back. We have a La-Z-Boy recliner inside that reclines really far back and completely relieves the pressure for me, but this needs another 10-20 degrees to get there. I wish it was adjustable to go further back!!

Best zero gravity on the market
They do make a great product. My problem is I’m short obese and round so I’m forced to buy larger sized pieces and they fit one way but not another. Wide enough but too long generally.
