This is well made, the letters haven’t fallen off, and it’s a moderate weight. Definitely too thin for a blustery cold day without additional layers, but not t-short weight either. The sizes are definitely for children. I bought this for a boy who typically wears medium /size 8 boys clothes. I purchased the large based on the other reviews and it was much too large. It got my 13 year old who typically wears a large boys perfectly.If you have a kid wearing medium kids, buy that size. If you’re a small woman, I would suggest the XL (I’m normally an XS-S adult and I think the XL would be perfect). Continue sizing up as appropriate.

It was too small for a large standard, but it was rather cute. I am on a weight loss program so I will eventually fit into it, but at best you should imagine the sizes as being another one down. I.E. Large = Medium, Medium = Small, etc

Ok, so I'll have to update my review with a picture. This runs super small! If you're a larger female, this may not work for you. I purchased this for my 10 yr old and got a womens small, and it's almost too small. My daughter is tall and skinny, so I was quite shocked to see how this fit her. Now, the sweatshirt material is on the thinner side, so don't expect it to keep you warm. This would be for a cool day outside and not much more. The other thing (which I'll update with a picture) is on my daughters, the cat is not sitting right atop the pocket as pictured. There's probably a 3-4" gap between the pocket and where the cat sits, so it looks a bit funny to me. My daughter didn't have a problem with it, but I didn't care for it. Just beware that it may not come out the way you're expecting and it runs small!

I bought my daughter, who wears a size 14, the biggest size thinking she would get a few years out of it. So glad I did, as the hoodie is equivalent to an XS. My daughter does love this sweater and says it's super soft and comfy.

I got the pink kitty one. It's super thin but still has the fuzzy on the inside which makes it cozy at least. Bought for my almost 10 year old niece and it'll be a bit big for her but I expected that, she can layer up. :)
