Conditions as it colors. I get compliments everyday, everywhere with 6R.
Had ordered wrong color 6N instead of 6R. Great product, been using since 2010.

Best at home hair color
Satin hair color is the best brand I’ve used at home. I mix 3/4 of 7A & 1/4 of 6N together with an equal amount of their Semi Developer and brush on my roots. That’s 50% developer 50% color. I do this so I don’t get as much lift as 2/3 developer, just deposited color. That keeps hair from turning quite as orange when the color fades. Leave on for 20-30 minutes. In winter I brush more on the lengths about 5 minutes before rinsing to even out my overall color. It’s very forgiving about exact timing. Gives me a close match to my natural light ash brown hair and feels softer. Neutral covers grey. Color lasts several weeks. If I just use the 7A alone it goes a little too yellow on me but it’s not bad, just better with the touch of 6N, actually helps make it more ash. Color is translucent so it looks natural. I can go in the next day with a few tiny box blond highlights. Never fails. After years of tears I’ve found my go to formula.

Just what I wanted!
I have been purchasing DeveloPlus Satin Color #6N for several years now. I color my hair (touch up the roots, that is) every two weeks. This is the only brand that lasts in my hair and I can easily measure the amount. Since I color so often, I don't want to purchase a regular "box color" as that would quickly get expensive.I use it with a 20 volume cream developer. I don't use the DevelopPlus developer due to the cost, but purchase a larger bottle of developer in whatever brand is cheapest. I haven't noticed a difference in the quality of the results.I can color all of my roots using only 1/6 of the tube, much cheaper than pre-measured kits. The color comes out darker on my hair than dark blonde. It's more of a medium brown, but my hair is fine and absorbs color easily. Keeping the color is a different matter. Most brands fade quickly, but this holds longer than any other I've tried. It is actually cheaper to purchase here than at the nearest beauty supply store, which is 30 miles from me, even when shipping costs are included in the price.I am so glad to find that I can buy this here on Amazon!!

Great Color
I am a hairdresser so I know alot about haircolor. I bought this to color my roots myself when I was in between jobs. It covers grey, is a great neutral color without being warm and I tend to pullpull warm. I can get 2 to 3 root applications out of one tube as it's one part color to two parts developer.

High quality hair color
Satin hair color has great coverage but I have to use 2 applications of NoGray for every 4 oz. along with the Cover Grey developer. My roots are very resistant. Nothing in the drugstore gives complete coverage for me. But this does! It also is less damaging than the color I used previously from a beauty supply store. The neutral colors runs darker than the name, dark blonde actually looks like light brown and the neutral light brown looks medium brown. It seems to be like a salon color in that you shampoo it out instead of just rinsing it. The color also gives very subtle highlights so it's not completely flat. I like the fact that there are 3oz. in a tube. It is marked in 1oz. increments so it is easy to measure. I would recommend this hair color to anyone, especially if you are struggling with resistant hair.

Packaging and freshness of product
Everything sealed and packaged correctly. This is the best I have had in a long time: the color comes out correct and even. Not like several times when it was not "taking" or coming out an uneven color. This is a good seller.

Best grey coverage I've found
This Satin hair color does a fabulous job of covering resistant grey hair. I tried several store brands and had about given up and gone to a salon when I read about this. I have tried both the 7N and the 6N and they both look very natural and cover the grey much better than anything at the drug store. The Satin website is also very helpful in explaining how to use it, what developer to use and what colors are available.
