I recently purchased the Havells DBOXx MCB Protected Socket, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The design is sleek and visually appealing, fitting perfectly into my room's decor. First of all apart from the picture there is no mention of the amp of this mcb box. I ordered it because I wanted a 25amp MCB box taking the idea from the picture. A 25 amp mcb box comes with a 25 amp socket, 25amp plug and a 25amp MCB. Where mcb is already fitted in the box, the one I received had 25amp plug and switch but mcb was 20amp and mcb wasn't fitted in. Now if you wanted 25amp MCB and received 20amp mcb then don't think it's all the same let's use whatever you get. There is a difference and it a matter of your safety coz using wrong amp mcb can be risky. If you have a 1ton ac 20 amp is what you need but 25amp is not suitable since it might not trip during short circuit coz of higher load amp. If you have a 1.5 ton ac 25amp is what you need since 20amp won't be able to take the load, for 2ton ac 32amp is needed. So just don't accept what you get. There is a reason why the market has so much options.I obviously returned it coz i dont want to take risk also wrong item was sent. Since a proper mcb fox is not available here on amazon and also on Flipkart, those which are available are costly.. I suggest you to stop being lazy and buy one from your nearest electricity shop. I bhought a same havells 25amp mcb box with 25amp plug, socket and mcb for just Rs. 500/-.

The overall quality and look of the product was really good. But the mcb comes separate and it was not fitting. I had to cut to fit the mcb. It would have been good it all worked out of the box.

Guess i have to cut a bit of the frame.
